I agree Roly, it took a long time for me to find the right therapist to help me come to peace with my rather horrific childhood, your mental health is SO important! Thanks for the video and I hope you have a lovely weekend❤️
I just watched a vlog where the parents got their 2 month old baby’s ears pierced. Now, the odd thing was is they actually did research and went to a real piercer. Apparently the place “specializes” in piercing kids??? I can’t grasp that one…. But WOW…… I was oddly relieved they went somewhere professional but I agree babies don’t need to be pierced. The new detail is AMAZING Roly!!! Very much enjoying your channel.,..
Sorry for my bad English in advance. I have few piercings, some done with a medical needle and some done with a piercing gun. Using the gun definitely shocks the body & does trauma to the place (took me almost 2 months to heal, very painful) while a medicine needle starts slim and widens so you get pierced almost pain-free (hurts as much as a mosquito bite) and the place is healed in 1-2 days. 😁
My parents waited until I had language skills to ask for piercings and even then I still had to wait two years before they permitted it. All my school friends got pierced when they were infants. My parents were worried it was because I got influenced by my friends but it wasn’t, I just couldn’t wear other types of jewellery due to sensory issues, and clip ons I could only wear for small amounts of time. I am glad my parents gave me a choice and made sure I wanted it.
That’s so creepy, if I had a kid I’d make them wait until they were 13 (unless they kept bugging me about it for years and I end up having to take them to a piercer so they don't get impatient and go to Claire’s on their own!) A baby is literally getting stabbed for no reason, there is no way a 2 month old infant even knows what earrings are!
Roly, you are 100% right about using things like this to deal with mental health issues. Therapy, psychiatrist and possibly medication - that's the way to go. At about 16:07 , I have a sudden urge to make string art. 💚🐇🐴💚
“Can you imagine having a piecing above your knee?” A sentence I never thought I would hear 😂 also the one after that one with the nasty ear tunnel… oh my god… that gave me the chills and now I’m unwell. How did that person manager to get their ear that big if they clearly never took care of it?! Disgusting 😭

Gonna start tagging Helix in your stuff, you deserve a long term brand deal 👏🏼😅
Roly, your videos just make my day! I've been watching your videos daily and they've been one of my highlights, they make my mood better even though sometimes what we are show is disgusting, like what have they been doing!? I actually did my second cartilage piercing while feeling like shit mentally a month ago, but it made me happier as I had wanted second one for a while now and just took the chance and went through with my decision. It's been healing well, so am happy about it as it was not as traumatic experience as when I got my first cartilage piercing done - with a piercing gun! That was something else, they didn't give be any information how to keep it clean and it got infected so I just had to just change the earring into a hoop and it healed pretty fast after that. Even so, it has taken me years to muster up the courage to get my second one done, because the memories of that gun and infection kept me far away from getting another one. Glad I did eventually, now I'm just waiting for the time I can change it into a similar horseshoe as the first one is with a multichrome design (purple-green-blue colouring, I just love it).
You’re 100% correct about piercing play. It’s a big waste of money, time, and resources in my opinion. **Cues to British lady saying, “What’s the point?!”**
So you consider other folk having non-reproductive sex similar? Are condoms a waste of resources because they're one time use to have fun? Piercing play is generally for the experience (and cool photos), it's a sensation play that can trigger a natural high (similar to sex and other types of sensation play [spanking, etc .]). it's also to play with fear /emotional states and confront personal fear for some -- people are drawn to different types of play for different types of reasons. The needles are one time used and recycled via sharps jar. I'm not into it, but I've tried it as I'll try most similar things once (twice, three times just to be sure I don't like it), but I get why people do it. It can also be a spiritual experience, iiirc similar types of pain play are used throughout history to obtain a certain spiritual minded headspace (the natural high thing). For Roly: the end of the needle is tucked in to prevent accidentally pricks to others iirc, as that'd be blood born illness concerns if it happens (as the tip has touched blood). Rack: risk aware consentual kin k and risk reduction principles are practiced when usually with piercing play. "Don't yock other's (consentual) yum" is another relevant principle.
@hefoxed it's less the experience, and more going to a professional and asking them to do that. And if you use new needle (which you should) it's making of a waste. Also, condoms being used once nd then thrown away isn't a waste because that's wht they're for, to prevent diseases and pregnancy. The needles are a waster because unlike using one condom during sex it's like changing a condom for every pump, or stacking 30 of them together. Also if that's a walk in that peircer has to order a bunch of more needles. Actually either way.
Re: the piercing play video Most people will either tuck the ends of the needles into the skin, or put small corks on the end of the needles. This keeps the ends of the needles covered so that it's safe to move around without the risk of sticking an innocent bystander.
When roly accidentally says “you have nine penises?” by accident before correcting himself half way through saying the word penis to piercings had me in knots 🤣. You just know some odd ball is going to get a Nine tails inspired tattoo but Nine penises 😬… An they’ll nickname it Hemipenes snakey wakey I’m a slippery snayyykeee 😬🤣.
ive been at my lowest point in my life right now and Roly your videos do bring me a smile, laughter and some joy to my life!! thank you for being you ❤
5:08 I don't like needles either, but when I got my septum done, I just closed my eyes 😅 That way I didn't freak out or scream. The only part that really hurt was putting the jewelry in.
I had an above the knee piercing once, I jumped over a fence and it tore out, it was a curved bar though so half was fully in my leg and half was sticking out.
No matter how many of theses videos I watch it still shocks the hell out of me that so many people are just walking around with absolutely disgustingly filthy earring/ jewellery in thair ears and don't seem to consider they need cleaning regularly 🤢🤮🤮
I will never understand why people would do such things to their bodies, like stretching too much, or too fast and get a blowout or infection. I myself am stretching my ears and I'm currently at 10mm, and I never had any problems stretching them. 🙄
Hii Roly it’s not a too bad story but after over 15 piercings this is my worst experience. So when I got my septum pierced my piercer chose the wrong size for the jewelry so he took the piercing out and started preparing the new one. It took him very long so and since he forgot to put a placeholder in. It took him 10 min to put the new jewelry in meanwhile I bled everywhere and the pain made my headache so much I started crying cuz I thought he wouldn’t be able to put it in. So long story short I have a new favorite piercer since then. (He didn’t charge me for the extra piercing he used)
Actually Roly, since you’re such a big eurovision fan, would you ever consider making a video about it? I’d love to see it if that’s something you’d want to make♥️🥰
I had a keloid on my nose. Not that big, but still big enough to make the piercing look bad. I pulled out the ring and I made asprin paste and did that like 15 min per day for 5 days(I think). Went away 100%. Can't even tell I had an issue.
I got one of my nipples pierced a few months ago and I was soooo nervous before hand, but I just told the piercer to do her thing. I shut my mouth, watched it happen and was surprised at how little it hurt. I mean, it DID hurt, but way less than getting my septum pierced. I would NEVER go for a piercing and be screaming and telling them to wait because it's rude, the piercer shouldn't have to deal with it and I think people like that should be asked to leave.
15:45 OMG ROLY I caught that eurovision polish finales shadeee, your absolutely right! JANN WAS THE TRUE WINNER, I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY RIGGED THAT SELECTION PROCESS IDC WHAT NOBODY SAYYYY 😢
I can't stand people who scream like that. I was at a piercing shop and they had a sign that said if you were going to scream, you had to leave. I asked if they actually had people scream over piercings because I just couldn't fathom someone being that dramatic. He said yes and I was baffled. He said in his experience, it was mostly women getting their nipples pierced. I was like sure I guess, but when I got my nipples done, I never once got the urge to scream like a jackass.
The first time I saw needle play it seemed a bit extreme. I got used to the idea after a while, though, and I had it done on my abdomen. The pattern was pretty, yet the truth is the process was not exciting, but rather boring, except for the fact that a couple of needles were placed in spots that hurt. And when they got out there was a lot of blood. I'm not squeamish myself and the piercer took care of it immediately (I was quite all right, don't worry + he was a medical professional). The onlookers, however, were impressed. I'm not sure whether in a good way. 😂😂😂 It was a bit of a show, really. Nevertheless, I was safe - and sooo bored that I didn't want to try it ever again. I played with needles on my own later on, even trying a bit of embroidery on my own skin, but that was boring, too, so I gave it up entirely. Not for me. My point is that, even though it may make you cringe, needle play is rather boring imo, actually. P.S. The marks lasted for a long time, but they were gone eventually.

I got mine done by my aunt when I was 2 months old too. Never in my life had one problem with earrings. It’s not that serious.
That’s so creepy, if I had a kid I’d make them wait until they were 13 (unless they kept bugging me about it for years and I end up having to take them to a piercer so they don't get impatient and go to Claire’s on their own!)
A baby is literally getting stabbed for no reason, there is no way a 2 month old infant even knows what earrings are!
Roly, you are 100% right about using things like this to deal with mental health issues. Therapy, psychiatrist and possibly medication - that's the way to go.
At about 16:07 , I have a sudden urge to make string art.
💚🐇🐴💚
The colors in your tat look so amazing!! Every time the camera was on you I kept getting distracted looking at it. Great video as usual!
He took a horseshoe to the knee
The ink looks amazing Roly!
❤❤❤❤
That prosthetic ear had me extremely alarmed like what body mod is it where you have your ear mostly sliced off?! 😅
Very impressive how real that prosthetic looks.
That person digging in their ear is all those horrid piercing games irl lmao 😂😂😂
Yay!! We love some scalding hot tea! Love the new ink you’ve got done!!
🫖
Omg perfect timing Roly haha. I’ve had the worst day today as I dislocated my knee doing Just Dance lol. So it’s nice to have a good laugh.
Sending all the positive vibes
@@RolyWestYT thank you x
My knee is back in the right place now, I just have to wear a knee brace for a while. I will never be doing that dance again lol.
The girls in the first video were using leather needles, which are more blunt than a normal sewing needle… Because you’re supposed to use a leather punch to remove part of the leather before putting anything through it…Hmmm almost like skin or something
Absolutely gorgeous ink Roly! We stan the Simpsons ✨💅 Hopefully this year I too can start my tattoo sleeve 😊
Oh I hope you can!!! ❤
I have a fear of needles. Piercing cleaning videos and piercing play especially give me the ick/disturb me soooo much. But Roly just makes these videos so entertaining that I keep watching them despite finding the content vile😂
The upholstery needles used for the belly button 😨 my stomach dropped!! Also I made that same noise right when Roly did 😂😂
I just found your channel so I’m not sure if they have or not, but when you said you don’t get sponsors often my first thought was that I was surprised Helix hadn’t set up a sponsorship with you yet! They’re big on sponsoring channels that talk about and/or show things that other sponsors avoid or that gets demonetized. (Tattoos, piercings, sex ed stuff, horror stuff, you name it).
Actually either way.
some people are sensation seekers, looking for the next experience sometimes at any cost. like the cenobites.
I was honestly terrified looking at those needles in the first video. 😱
Aaaah a sponsor, how exciting! Nice. I also love the lil tattoo update, looks so nice already. So cool to see the tattoo journey unfold.
Oh my god the last time I watched you, you were talking about getting tattoos and now you dived in the deep end but you’re rocking it ❤
I'm binging your content and i laugh every time you tell us to squat for jesus
I love your videos so much Roly!! They really are the highlight of my day!! Love from The Netherlands!❤🌈
Thank you!! ❤
Re: the piercing play video
Most people will either tuck the ends of the needles into the skin, or put small corks on the end of the needles.
I am so here for the phenomenal coloring! Also "Nevermore!" Lol
always a good day when roly uploads. ICON
Thank you ❤
ive been at my lowest point in my life right now and Roly your videos do bring me a smile, laughter and some joy to my life!! thank you for being you ❤
5:08 I don't like needles either, but when I got my septum done, I just closed my eyes 😅 That way I didn't freak out or scream. The only part that really hurt was putting the jewelry in.
Serving Andre the Giant realness in the onsie 😭🤪 fucking love it sis
I had an above the knee piercing once, I jumped over a fence and it tore out, it was a curved bar though so half was fully in my leg and half was sticking out.
I had gotten my septum pierced about a week ago and it seems to be healing well! Thank you for all the information on taking care of new piercings!
No matter how many of theses videos I watch it still shocks the hell out of me that so many people are just walking around with absolutely disgustingly filthy earring/ jewellery in thair ears and don't seem to consider they need cleaning regularly 🤢🤮🤮
I love love love the grey contacts on you!! they make your eyes look so soft, I would die to give you a glittery inner corner moment
real Jennifer Aniston vibes
Love watching you, you make me laugh so much. Thank you for always making me laugh and being so funny. By the way your tattoo is amazing x
the BLANKA SLANDER had me laughing tears im living for this.
also you look STUNNING in that one sleeve top
The park piercing was like a magic trick! 😮 Where did the needle go? 😂
I will never understand why people would do such things to their bodies, like stretching too much, or too fast and get a blowout or infection. I myself am stretching my ears and I'm currently at 10mm, and I never had any problems stretching them. 🙄
I'm at 12 mm and same!
(He didn’t charge me for the extra piercing he used)
Loving the Blanka Solo references 😂
Yay a new video. You’re looking fab Roly. Cheers and love from 🇨🇦
Thanks Yvonne
I love the one shoulder moment, your tattoo looks amazing Roly!
“Solo solo I didn’t win my selection process” I CANTTTT AHAHAH I love you so much Roly TELL THEMMM
Your the best. I know you are trying to inform us on stupidy of people. I appreciate your humor it helps me smile and deal with my depression
Getting here early to say I hope you’re doing well Rolisha❤️
OMG the sleeve is looking sooo good! I've never really watched Simpsons but the artwork makes amazing looking tattoos.
I just did my own nipples, I'm a piercer and tattooist, and it wasn't that bad in my opinion?
Roly's tattoos look so incredibly done! I've never seen colors so beautifully vibrant and look that good before! ❤
It was a bit of a show, really.
SLAYING with that top omg!! Your tattoos look so great too
Loving the drip 😎
Thanks
I love all the tattoos, whoever does you work is amazing 👏 😍
I just want you to know Roly, that I watch these videos while I am getting ready for work, and EVERY TIME you start the “squats for Jesus” lines, I stop and squat for Jesus. Curling iron and all, getting my juicy peach for the lord.
The tattoo looks even more stunning each time!!!😊
Hey Roly, I don't usually comment, but thank you for emphasising the importance of proper mental health support.
You're funny😂😂
Binged your content in random order. Thanks for cheering me up.😊
Also: you inspired me to express myself. Made an appointment in a piercing studio for next week
I actually think the piercing play scars might look quite pretty 😅 I think it's intentional hence putting the end of the needle back in the skin
Honestly that one-shoulder look is FABULOUS on you!!!! Really brings out the tattoos as well of course! I see those Sonic ones on your right shoulder; as a long-term Sonic comic enthusiast, I very much approve ✨
I remember getting my nips pierced I was freaking out and even then I didn’t jolt from the pain, just deep breathing like an idiot 😂 it’s been a year and a half and they are doing fine
I’ll never get tired of the “she’s dead” memes , I love your editing 😂
I am here for the reactions 😂 love the side shoulder look it’s so cute xx
24:55 why when roly was singing that did (at Claire’s) pop into my mind 😂 that’s my new fav song, Never ever ever ever gonna get my p pierced at Claire’s
I’m 17 and I was absolutely terrified getting my septum and industrial pierced last year but I collected myself and got it done without a peep and that grown woman was screaming at the top of her lungs honestly it’s so embarrassing I don’t understand why she would move about because that would just make it worse smh 🤦♀️
I love the Craig tucker pfp
@@5Rice5Cake5 why thankyou :)
Your new art is amazing! Love getting to see it on display!
Me and you feel the same about nipple piercings. I use to have mine I loved the look but they’re just so easy to get caught and knocked lol and the loofah 😱 nope. Had them and that is enough, don’t wanna get them pierced again. 😂
