Powers Boothe and Steven Lang both chewed the scenery in Tombstone. But then they had to try and keep up with Val Kilmer as Doc and Micheal Biehen as Ringo.
@@aurelalee7246 Dana, great to look at. But she actually did not look the part. I think everybody involved in the production simply had a blast making the movie in terms of shooting. Tombstone was not historically accurate. In many ways. But they got the jist of things right. The Earp's were no angels. And neither was the Clanton/Cowboy faction. Costner's film is more accurate historically but is also a chore to watch.
Good topic and no wonder that Texan actor Powers Boothe from Snyder agreed to portray him, most famously in the movie Tombstone. According to a friend of mine whose college room-mate at UT was Boothe's girlfriend, Boothe was as cool in reality as he was in the movie role. His classic reply to Kurt Russell's goodbye, "Well..........Bye!" was one of the best stoic line ever. So sad to lose Boothe a few years ago, he was a Texas classic!
For a long time it really was. I was actually really surprised to find out that Wichita, KS was considered one of the most violent towns in that day. It wasn’t until they had to lay the law down in a heavy way that it calmed down.
Powers Boothe was amazing as Curly Bill in Tombstone

@@mpetersen6 One of the few films in which the cast was entirely amazing. (The only exception would be Dana Delaney as Josie...in my opinion)

Curly Bill, in two different westerns, is portrayed as yellow. But, movies tend to twist things a bit..😅
Watch this! Hold my beer.
The Alec Baldwin defense 😅
curly bill's disposition might have benifited from the acquisition of a comb...
He came right after Shemp ! and before joe

The last video I watched strongly suggested the Wild West was generally not as wild as Hollywood portrayed it. And then this.
For a long time it really was. I was actually really surprised to find out that Wichita, KS was considered one of the most violent towns in that day. It wasn’t until they had to lay the law down in a heavy way that it calmed down.
This is an AI generated story. Pretty cool.
Curly Bill very famous outlaw in 1870s-1880s.

Very interesting video, but the mispronunciations are truly atrocious. I guess AI has a way to go.

Long before gauchos vegueros or cowboys people tended cattle.
