Let's see; the pit crew was a bit shoddy - Rodriguez 's wheel flew off at high speed, Senna's 'new adjusted steering column' was a touch on the thin side with poor welding and snapped, Lauda had a vital nut and bolt not torqued down, and Ratzenburger's front wing fell off and jammed his front wheels at speed. If accidents/driver error didn't kill you the pit crew would.

I refer to the 70's in the main and Imola '94. I haven't watched the vid, as I don't enjoy watching fatal motorsport accidents, most of which were man made by the pit crews and engineers.
Great hero racers in their time at the top,just sad that way too many of them died driving F1 cars,so much change however so few deaths in the last 15 years. Halo to stay?

Jim Clark probably the best F1 driver ever, died in an F2 accident at Hockenheim. Not F1, doesn’t matter as we still lost a great driver and an absolute gentleman.
What he did at lotus grew them to be an icon team,results stand for themselves. Together with Colin Chapman he was the difference that counted. Jim Clark rip
