Jobs change mate. Else we'd all still be holding sickles out in the fields, doubt you'd be very fond of that. It's the people that try to prolong jobs that are set to disappear that then make the change be a lot more forceful and less gradual than it should be

My father and uncles were miners and at the Battle of Orgreve and despite what any media outlet will tell you, the Police were looking for a fight that day - you don't bring the army and cavalry to a peaceful march, the miners wanted to work and bring home money to sustain their families - nothing more, and yet the police waved overtime pay lips in their faces. My father was accused of claiming "strike pay" what a joke! we had nothing - My father to this day admits the worst day of his life was when my sister asked him if she could have some sweets and hi;s pockets were empty. The effects are still here today, I am still a resident of a mining village and have to travel 30 miles to get to work each morning as there is simply no industry left in our once blossoming valley.

7BearBrown And they’ve taken it all away on purpose to undermine the stability of the British working class. Now we’ve ended up with chavs and other types of degenerates roaming the streets with nothing better to do. Young people doomed to live out their lives in idleness. I live in a former mining town aswell and it’s depressing to see what they’ve done to our area. There’s simply no hope. And then the same bastards whip up sentiment against immigrants.
