Did you find this fixing your problem? I'm having the same issue. No issues when driving at speed. Slowing down and stopped, the rpms dip very low and the truck dies. Only happens when the truck is at operating temps.
There could definitely be a fuel supply issue now that you say that. I know that at least one of my fuel injectors leaks(hard hot start). So I could be having other injector problems I suppose
@@BoxinaGarage All the trouble only to find out previous mechanic, DIDN'T push MAP sensor ALL the way in, till it Clicked..Why do we choose to do our OWN work?
I would guess 89 would be similar and it is MAP sensor. If there’s a vacuum line hooked to it, it’s MAP. If it is mounted in the intake manifold, it is MAF. P for Pressure, F for Flow.

Map sensor.
Maf sensor would be before the throttle plate at the air box. But these did not come with on. Only a map sensor.

I have been having intermittent idle issues for a while now. This did help. But I wouldn’t say it was a 100% fix. Could use a replacement I think
