- So the problem with the old double baobhan setup is that it still gets heavily disrupted by buff removal NPs, well not anymore.

Never thought I'd see Thomas in a lineup
He does actually become pretty damn strong in slow teams after his most recent update
Fun fact, edison setup is one of the earliest strat on defeating full gauge kama.

This is a rather disgusting Synergy. Edison's Overcharge Boost lets Tamamo gives the whole team 43% NP Charge since her NP is put on last, his and Sith's S1 and NP when timed right gives the entire team a Free 9% NP Charge from the Skill Seal while also giving 2 of the Party an 80% Defense with 1 ally having 110%, 2 if Tammy's S2 is active. Pretty disgusting and unique Synergy. I'm glad that she follows the footstep of her mother in terms of being a DPS that sacrifice support to help the Team, makes Team Building far more interesting

This team with its high frequency of edison's NP, Bao's S2, tamamo's curse, allows it to completely shut down enemy NPs and even frequently skills seals to prevent random buff removal skills.
Usually you do Bao NP -> Edison NP -> tamamo NP so you still get a combined 70% atk down almost every turn. combined with Bao's S1 20% def up you can still basically take no damage. You also usually use edison's CD reduction skill on bao which has an additional 30% def up, and tamamo has morph, making edison the only unit that realistically takes damage in this comp. Try to use tamamo's heal or the invul from atlas on him to protect him if he is low on HP.

@@Gejju3TejeghI'm guessing it really just depends on the fight, since this comp rely on debuffs to survive, any fight with debuff immunity or high debuff resistance would probably not be a good suit for this comp

@@xpotoh356 I mean, joking aside it kinda is. Almost every viable stall comp has Castoria in it. Sure you can use Jeanne as a substitute, but Castoria is better in basically all cases.
So yeah, stall is “dead” without Castoria as almost all stall teams use her or would like to use her.
@@xpotoh35699% of the time it is better to just use something like castoria + reines and get 5 hit inv every 3 turns while looping NPs rather than slow stall.
I got a feeling that Otto made this team idea. But I could be wrong like usual tho. lol

@PlushieMistress yea I too would put Edison in this team. As a choice/suggestion because I'm never that confident with my ideas tbh.

Double Baobhan Merlin is like the easiest team anyone can think of lol
Double Bao Merlin doesn't have any CD reduction. So it won't allow her to stack the buffs like this. But it's probably still good

Edison has always had his unique brand of stall! I use Castoria instead of Baobhan on NA.

it seems like where castoria oc immortal comp doesn't work, this will most times and vice versa
Probably gets annihilated by the likes of Kirschtaria, who has immunity to debuffs, and just randomly removes your buffs. As well as healing through any damage this comp can muster.
@@Wheres_my_Dragonator he also had invul and def pierce if I'm not mistaken. He's an insidious one by default and Castoria was perfectly made for him.
I've noticed you use Edison's S3 on Tamamo on non-NP turns. Please do note that his OC up is, annoyingly, one turn only.
I think bob's battle thems is my favorite in the game.
I am surprised that Thomas was used for this setup.

But still, enemy with unremovable debuff immunity can just shut down these team comp right
Allies still get their buffs so it could just be like facing down an undying army who chips away
@@gogobebe8460It's only undying if it lands the attack down debuffs. Any undebuffed np/crit will blow them away. Their personal buffs isn't enough to negate anything. The only meaningful buffs they have is the healing, which is no good if all your hp disappears from one attack.

It has no cleanse mechanic. Cernunnos won't even have to do anything. They'll just die from the curse eventually before it even loses a bar.

Solemn is still better. This one is a bit less restrictive tough since you has more freedom with firing np (solemn comp kinda requiring you to hold your np till 3 turn and everyone has their np ready)
Why can't ces effects increase with each limit break you give them rather than just be the minimum or the maximum?

Stall is not for those who want to use it, it's for those who have no better way of dealing with challenging encounters.
Imagine having Xian Yu as your best damage dealer against multi-class challenge quests and no quick support: pure pain and suffering.
This team is not very expensive and can get you very far if you know how to use it.
