    Lisburn rd junction to Malone ave ,Remember the Tudor styled building there.Worked in BP Garage on adjacent corner Lisburn rd service stn Clarence Engineering.

    Great photos and memories, I think thedateis wrong for Antrim 1949, soeor the cars in i weren't made until the 60s

    Majority of photos are Ireland, the country wasn’t partitioned until 1923. Misleading title

    Mm whilst these scenes may evoke fond memories, remember then there was still high unemployment and (it has to be stated) major underlying political problems. And tensions would emerge, with a tragic vengeance, in the early 1960s from those problems: local govt gerrymandering of boundaries, blatent discrimination in housing and in jobs etc.
