So tackled this today - had a lot of confidence thanks to the video and all the right parts. My only suggestion.....get a better transfer pump than the one suggested. Its cheap yes, but for a reason! Mine exploded spraying oil everywhere! Other than that - there were no surprises and this is a great video...oh, and my sump plug had been tightened by the Incredible Hulk just the same!
@Stephen Ford Hi Stephen, thank you for the comment and suggestion! I only used it this once then bought an oil extraction pump so it never had the opportunity to fail on me and make a mess so thank you for the heads up. Glad I wasnt the only one that thought that about the plug 😂
Must take it a run first and do this warm. If cold, all the stuff you want out has settled back to where that pump won't get it, ready to pollute your new oil.
@patrickmoloughney1496 I would recommend changing it as a precaution but if its in good shape then you'll probably be fine. I would just keep an eye one it for a fews days possibly even a week to make sure it's not leaking. The washer maybe too far gone and leak. 👍🏻
update, changed the oil eventually, however the humming noise i was hearing when coming off the accelerator at 60mph is louder🤦 any idea what is wrong?😅

definitely need the replacement plug? my car making humming sound when decelerating at 100kpm, think diff oil low so going to try change it myself
