The blond girl is the best swedish teacher from this Company!!! Because you're Native, and your lips, have expression when it moves, have a clear and good comunication...congratulation and pleeeaasse, never stop to teach here because you help us alot.
Please have Hanna make all the Swedish videos! She enunciates clearly and speaks at a perfect pace for us beginners. Outstanding! She also speaks perfect English and explains the background of phrases, and when and why to say them. Unfortunately, I can't understand Elin because she doesn't move her mouth enough when she speaks. She speaks through a frozen smile, which muffles her speech.
I have no trouble with either of them. Maybe because I have used an app before, It is easier for me. But I didn't notice anything issues and have found both of them very engaging for different reasons. Hanna has some natural personality and Elin has very a commercial talent.
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
The best thing about Hanna, besides her gorgeous, honest smile, is how she makes it seem so simple and the tips she gives about Sweden, what to do, what to say, when to go there, etc. Very nice job. Greetings from Venezuela.
Thank you for the phrases, It is a great help! Just 2 a side comments (not to be negative but to be honest, obviously in my opinion. 1) kids do not like so much swedish meatballs, is just what parents And restaurants offer as THE option. 2) It is a very difficult country if you are foreigner, so it can be Extremely frustrated to try to live here in Sweden (accomodation/ housing, work and society and things to do, health services and services in general and a bit rude society, racism and not to mention the cold weather and DARK months) wish people were as nice as Hanna is. ;) I have lived in +6 countries and this is the hardest country to live in. Just trying to tell what is the general feeling is most foreigners here. Unless you are Swedish or have a Swedish partner, things are a bit more easier in housing and some services. Tack! Hope I do not hurt feelings but I consider it might people from abroad to tell the brutal truth. ;)
As I know from swedes and my teacher, and swedish textbooks, "var" is about place and "vart" is about direction. For example "Where do u live?" should be "Var bor du?" and "Where do u go?" should be "Vart åker du?" I m not a teacher or an interpreter (so dont trust me), but my native language is russian (so dont trust me again haha) and we also have different words for questions about place and direction, so it s easyer for me to understand that. But it s untranslatable to english. Sorry for u, cases in grammar should be also lot of pain.
For beginners she must combined it with English. If you go deep,,then you don't need English again. That's how language goes. Am in sweden for 4months now,,with the help of these these videos it helps to know the differences. Thanks.

Var bor du surely, not vart bor du.I'm not a native Swedish speaker, but I am sure "vart" means "from where", not "where".
