I mostly , well I say mostly I've always skied in France then last year went to Soll in Austria . I stuck to France due to the height of 2000 m and above , so guaranteed snow. With Soll being half that I was always worried about no snow. But last year at Soll in early March was superb, it had the wilder keiser range so lots of runs. So my question is, is Zem ok, is there a lot of runs to spend a week skiing ?
Hi Zell am Zee is relatively low so late on in season may suffer from snow loss or wet snow. It is also fairly small but there are enough runs for 2-3 days good sking. It is linked to Kaprun which has glacier skiing which is brilliant if a 30 minute bus ride away. You can also visit Salbach which has a huge ski area again relatively low compared to places like the Three Valleys or Val d Isere but has miles of pistes. I find Austria cleaner, cheaper and friendlier than France. Have a look at the piste maps for the areas mentioned All the Best Paul
Beautiful! Steep but smooth hard snow, you can really let em rip.
