The all new Viscount Wild Shark is now at Explorer Caravan Sales. The newest semi off-road caravan from one of Australia’s oldest names in the industry marries style and substance in a way only Viscount can. The Wild Shark, with its long list of features, is set up to give you an off grid holiday like no other!
So what makes the Wild Shark so special? Independent Suspension, a Bigger fridge, more solar, more storage, all in a sleek design! The end result is a luxury semi off road caravan built for free camping and other adventures!
The Viscount Wild Shark is built for getting off the beaten track. The AL-KO Enduro Cross Country Independent Coil Suspension gives the Wild Shark some off road capability. The 625mm checker plate and aluminium composite sides give the outside of this van a sturdier finish.
The Wild Shark is set up for free camping in luxury with standard inclusions like the grey water tank and 2 170w solar panels! You can take your holiday to the next level and spend more time off grid with the 110amp battery mounted to the chassis.
Now, Viscount offers options for lithium battery upgrades in all their caravans, and the Wild Shark is no exception. However if you don't feel like making the jump to lithium straight away, the Wild Shark has the lithium compatible BMPro battery management as a standard feature.
At the front of the Wild Shark is a large off-road tool box and 2 9kg gas bottles as well as an external gas bayonet. For more storage you’ll find a fully galvanised front tunnel boot with a 12v LED light.
There’s plenty of lighting on the outside of the caravan with 2 annexe lights and flood lights fitted to front & rear. At the back of the caravan you’ll also find the essential reverse camera.
Beneath the Wild Shark there's plenty of tank space with 2 fresh water tanks and a grey water tank, all protected by galvanised steel.
The striking interior of the caravan integrates a lot of the features from Viscount’s Premium Package, like the LED strip lighting. All the tapware as well as the cupboard door handles are coloured a stylish black.
The cupboards are your choice of 2 colours and come in a great array of options. The upholstery has the Premium stitching pattern.
The cabinetry is all computer cut to millimetre accuracy and offers plenty of storage space. You’ll also find shelves in the kitchens overhead cupboards to help you maximise the use you get out of your storage space.
The windows are all double glazed and simple to use. They come with block out blinds and midge proof fly screens.
There’s USB points throughout the van in the bed nooks and at the kitchen table. These USB slots have the benefit of running on 12 volt power so you can use them while you’re free camping.
The key feature of the Wild Shark’s kitchen is the 208L Thetford Bounty three way smart Fridge. A new range with plenty of space for beer and food on your off grid trip.
In the kitchen you’ll find other essentials. The recessed cooktop comes with a lid to maximise bench space when you’re not using the stove. You’ll also find a full oven, mini-grill, microwave and sink with a filtered tap.
The centrepiece of the bedroom is the island bed with a queen size innerspring mattress. Above the bed sits a full padded bed head. And on either side of the bed is a wardrobe cut out with dual USB/12v outlets as well as a double power point. The spacious robes in the bedroom offer space for a full coat hanger. For more storage space simply lift up the bed.
In the bathroom there is a black sink, large mirror and china bowl toilet. There's a fully moulded fibreglass shower and even a washing machine!
Viscount put a lot of their caravans tech in the same place. The overhead cupboard has got the BMPro trek display which has the digital water tank gauge. You’ll also find all the isolation switches for your appliance and a Bluetooth radio which is connected to speakers both inside and outside the caravan.
On the roof is a Gree reverse cycle air conditioner. Other key technological features are the Gas/electric hot water system, the 24 inch TV and wind up antenna. There’s also essential safety features like the smoke alarm and fire extinguisher.
The Viscount Wild shark is available in both touring and family layouts, and includes options for club lounges and single beds. No matter what your needs are you’ll be more than happy with the Wild Shark
