What? Pekka isnt even played in bridspam most replace it with Cannon card. If anything that can help to make pekka a option for other decks because really its extremely mid at best played in 1-2 meta deck and even then the price or cannon card replaced it...
@@EternalDeadExcept the fact that I literally yesterday just faced people who replaced Pekka with Cannon Cart in bridgespam? It might not be everywhere, but Pekka is one of the easier cards to replace in that deck. 1-2 years ago, EBarbs AQ bridgespam appeared that replaced the Pekka for a while.
I love looking at the comment sections of these videos because its the same for every evolution teasers. Everyone overreacts thinking its gonna be broken but in reality its mid. This happened with the goblin cage last month. And other cards like evo drill got toned down pretty quickly and arent super oppressive

Also Pekka is only good in one deck, and that deck already has 2 better evos to use (wizard and zap) maybe even 3 if you count battle ram too.

I can’t help but feel like the healing is a bit boring and disappointing as an evo Pekka concept. This gimmick would have worked much better with an evo Mini Pekka in my opinion. They could have done so much more with a Pekka evolution. Like imagine instead of healing it slowly charged itself up with electricity after each kill, eventually leading to it sprouting electric butterfly wings (a purely visual change) as electricty radiates uncontrollably from its armour, being able to do one huge electric explosion splash attack (basically a melee Sparky shot) after enough kills before returning to normal, needing to charge up again by killing stuff. This electricity idea would definitely need some tweaking to make sure it isn’t game-breaking or overpowered, but I was absolutely expecting something like that for a Pekka evolution instead since it would not only be really cool but also a neat callback to Clash of Clans’ Power Pekka.
I mean, I absolutely disagree about your « the healing is a bit boring » because in fact, this is very unique. The way they use the butterfly to make herself heal is interesting and definitely not unoriginal. Also, you’re sparky shot splash thing that you said, this would not be interesting because you are just using a sparky and combine it in to the pekka. You see, that is not original and that was i keep telling myself about those infamous video about evo card concepts, they are boring. Nothing is unique on the mentioned video and its just awful, like the mini pekka one i saw. « Mini pekka now will dash like a prince » i mean come on at least use pancakes or some unique attribute, not just putting prince charge in to the mini pekka, just like your sparky idea.

@@arjunb3151that's not what countering means. Just because it's able to kill it means nothing. A counter is a card that deletes the card that you are using or stops it from doing anything. E.g. electro wizard is a counter to sparky because sparky won't charge while the ewiz attacks it or bowler is a counter to goblin gang because the goblin gang won't do any damage to the bowler

Most people figured out pekka tries to get the evo battle ram to tower by blocking it from going to a building so it could be an alternative but it’ll still struggle against those cycle decks that drop a building and make the pekka run around and not hit anything
The fact it got a suprise buff before release prooves that its still just pekka but some small interactions with cards shes good against are better, and as long as pekka herself kills a troop she heals, zap wont grant her that healing, so shes still the same but she can heal now and over heal like bats, sounds familiar doesnt it
i personally think this evo will be super mid. PEKKA’s hit speed is way too slow to take advantage of the heal boost especially against swarm. can’t out heal the swarm dps. at best scenario use her against a bunch of fire bally units like wiz or witch.
