I bet the energy in that room is off the charts. They both give off such warmth, wisdom, and acceptance. A very affirming and genuine conversation. Thanks for sharing!
I'm Romanian by birth, came to the U.S. when I was nine, first place we lived in was Queens, New York then we moved to Jersey about a year later. I'm currently pursuing an acting career, and Sebastian gives me hope that maybe I too can make it in this field someday.
my whole family immigrated here. I’m the only one who was born in America. My dad is Russian my mom‘s Ukrainian so I get it. My dad’s parents immigrated here also but my dad was in America before them and my mom and my grandparents immigrated here together from Ukraine, and this was all before I was even in the world.

@@paulairwin4508 if you mean the episode then sure but you if mean the podcast as a whole then no. I been listening to a24 pod since 2018 the Sofia Coppola and Schrader ep. I will add that the video format is def new this is the first one
Thank you A24, for this glorious podcast. Sebastian and Coleman are two of the most underrated and genuine actors out there that are starting to get more recognition now. It’s also adorable they’re both introverted so of course they don’t like to bask in the celebrity limelight too much, nevertheless I love to hear them sit down like old friends and talk about their lives, inspirations and a genuine love for the art they create.
The way Colman talks about his craft is AMAZING I can’t understand how he’s not an Oscar Winner, hearing him talk about the process with Rustin is like watching some olympic medalist sharing the training process to a gold medal performance…
Rustin is an amazing film and Colman was just perfect in it. He was the exact right fit for the role. I was really hoping that he would win an Oscar for it. I am grateful that he made that film because I didn't know anything about Bayard Rustin and I began to educate myself about the man. It really is a shame that his role in the civil rights movement was erased from history.
i respectfully admire and adore and love sebastian, he's so genuine and seems like a wonderful person inside. i first fell in love with him bc of the cons and interviews and later discovered how much of talents he has, and yet still being very humble. he's the definition of underrated, i wish people see more of him and his project and give him the appreciation he deserves.
Thank you for this! There are no words to express how much I love Colman Domingo. He has the style, good looks and charisma of an old Hollywood star. He's an amazing actor that disappears into roles. And his humanity and empathy is evident in everything he does.
thank god for these humble, kind, emotionally intelligent actors. i look up so much to sebastian and coleman as an actor myself, they inspire me endlessly!
I've known of Colman from *things* but couldn't name anything he'd been in until last weekend when I put Sing Sing on and it's instantly top 10 movies for me. So of course I then watched Rustin because the guy is amazing. And to see him sit down with a fellow Romanian a few days after my dive into his work seems serendipitous.
I'm grateful that these two thoughtful conscient passionate persons got a forum to remind us why theatre/movies are important part of social and cultural education and understanding as personal groth as well
I grew up in Philly and never heard of this dude. Probably because I don't live in Philly anymore, because it is such a shit city they parade every famous person who graduated from Temple or dipped a toe in the Delaware River.
From România send you lot' s off love! We are proud off you!! ❤❤❤❤ Ești așa inteligent , cu picioarele pe pământ , humble men , smart men! No bad rumors !! You are perfect! We love you here in România❤❤❤❤
Glad I found this. Especially the part where he talks about danger and taking those leaps of faith to find your chance. I just barely started learning editing and making videos after years of wanting to. I also auditioned and tried to get into a film for the first time(Costners Horizon). No call back haha! All good. Thanks for the inspiration guys. Let’s keep creating!
Seb making more in the catering business than me right now as a fine dining Chef 😂 Such an insightful conversation, thank you for making space for those topics. I loved it! ❤
Wow this was so wholesome and satisfying. A whole hour of Sebastian Stan! Yes please. This wasn't on my 2024 bingo card, so thank you. First off, these two are a sight for sore eyes. Love the fashion: from the orange cardigan to the pink coat! 🎵So fresh, so clean! 🎵 This felt more like a conversation than an interview, which I liked. The respect they have for each other's body of work is admirable. The topics, from introversion to brotherhood to their artistry, were so refreshing. Intriguing for me as a fan, to hear how they work. I agree that Seb's acting range and vulnerability distinguish him. The way he portrays The Winter Soldier vs Bucky is so compelling. I appreciate the peek into Sebs childhood and the clubbing jokes were so me because I'm so over that scene too. Colman is just like me with the home solo parties😅❤ This was beautiful and I can't wait to watch The Apprentice cause I'm intrigued. 45:50 camera-person understood the assignment. So swoonworthy 😜 ❤ Here for that Mackie shout out. SamBucky fans unite! Colman is 54? 54 where? Ain't no way. I'd put him at 40 tops!
ngl we need new marketing manager at A24. Not only you guys don't push movies (very limited theatrical releases for movies) , you guys are not doing a great job in pushing stuff like these podcasts. I found out via Domingo himself on twitter. Not enough marketing / distributing . I mean this in the most loving way possible
1 hour???? Listening to Seb talking for an HOUR???? THANK YOU THANK YOU
seb try to not bring up mackie in every conversation challenge 😂 i adore their friendship
No but fr 😂 I can't believe he brought up Mackie in an A24 podcast 😅
That's one of his besties fr 😭
Sebastian Stan and Colman Domingo in a movie would be so fantastic

Someone needs to put these two and Pedro pascal in a something together.
Oh yes! 😀
whoever thought to put these two together, give them a raise. Not only could I look at them forever, their conversation is so engaging
Colman is one of the best actors in the world right now and I'm so glad to get to hear a long-form conversation on Sing Sing and his other projects.

Colman is such a lovely man. His voice is therapeutic to listen to, very calming & smooth. I can’t wait to see him in the MJ biopic next.
Is this a new thing? If so, I love this and I'm excited for more.

These 2 men have very sweet and humble spirits 🥺
I feel you, Sebastian, my mom did the same thing to me. "Stop frowning, you're going to get wrinkles!" And retinol. Don't forget the retinol.
This new thing is incredible, no cuts, no edit, just two human beings talking purely one to another ❤️❤️

I already loved Sebastian and respected Colman, but now I really love Colman, too. What a thoughtful guy with great questions. Loved this format.
colman's voice is so nice to listen to
Every single time Sebastian tells us about his mother she seems absolutely hilarious 😂
never thought i needed this pod until now
Both are super talented and charming. Hopefully they can work together someday ❤
I planned on putting this on so I could fall asleep and their voices are soothing but their conversation is so engaging, I couldn’t sleep at all.
put sing sing back in theaters, and more theaters!! lol
Yes! I nearly didn’t see it because I found the trailer a bit much, but did and found it really emotional!
I loved every part of this. I need them in a project together. Or a whole series of them just talking.
Super proud of Sebastian Stan my guy has 3 movies coming out the apprentice, a different man , and thunderbolts *
I watched a different man 3 times and I didn't like it. I really don't get the hype.
