Sorry for the late upload. More things came up, but I'll talk about that at a later time. Anyway, I really hope you all enjoyed the build! I had a lot of fun with this one and am really pleased with how it turned out. Let me know what you think and have a great rest of your weekend!
Don’t care didn’t read after first sentence. As long as I know you are still on TH-cam I will wait as long as you need for a video because the detail, effort, and knowledge you put into your videos is worth any wait. The fact that despite your injury you still committed was amazing, but if you need time to recover I’m sure the Serpa Squad is willing to support your decisions. Awesome video (as always). And I hope you have a great weekend as well.
I've done several table top fountains with giant bamboo sections cut as needed. Only thing is, the bamboo breaks down in about a year so it needs to be sealed or extra pieces for back up repairs. My favorite fountain to make were done with feather rock, or lava rock drilled, carved and shaped as needed for caves, waterways etc. Such fun building these as well. And can be easily customized as needed. 😎
This is something I would actually wish to own some day. What an absolutely incredible piece of art! The sound is out of this world and the pond with those tiny floting plants is just so freaking cute!
I've watched every video on your channel and I very rarely comment on youtube vids, but I just needed to say that your pieces just keep getting better and better with each one. The amount of love and care you put into them is obvious and I cant even imagine all the behind the scenes work you do. Always looking forward to more of your work
Been watching for years Tanner. I hope your hand is doing well and thank you for all these years of content. You and your wife have a happy Sunday. And i hope you are both doing well.
@@atomicforcegaming2867 he injured his hand doing yardwork, and it was bad enough for his finger to need to be immobilized for quite some time. Which means tendons and nerves were severed/severely damaged, as the finger was not broken.
One thing I've found with those bamboo stakes specifically is if you use a jewlers saw for them they won't split or fray and the fine teeth sort of polish the cut faces. It takes a bit of effort but of you're doing really minute or precise cutting it super helps
Wow, glad the finger is pretty much healed, that was some extensive damage!! I love everything about this build, it has everything I love. Creeping fig, floating plants, running water, moving parts, moss, the hemp was genius, see I can go on and on too!
Serpadesign… my favorite way to start a….Sunday? Lol love the channel, great build and we appreciate your dedication to getting content out for us week after week.
I like it. The proportion of the dracaena, rocks, and plants make it look like a natural setting. To avoid bamboo splitting, soak it for a few hours in water before handling.
Dam I absolutely love this, it's so creative. Every single time you create a project like this I think of how cool it would be to just have it sitting on your table or in your room, they work so well as displays.
I'm so glad you posted your 10 year video. I realized youtube had marked 10+ videos that I had "seen" but I had not. Happy to circle back and enjoy these.
Hi Tanner! This project is truly inspiring! I love the Japanese feel of art! I cannot express in words how excellent I think this project is. I love the sounds it makes! P.S. I'm glad your finger is almost healed. I bet it's great having that cast thing off.
This will be a great project to come back to in a later video... I'm very interested in how that faux bamboo turns out! Your latest venture into Japanese inspired art is very exciting for me, personally... just wonderful!
Idk why but the sound of the little clink when it fills with water and drops then comes up again 100% makes this piece. That sound is so satisfying and calming.
Well done as usual! I love the calming sound of the fountain, I could listen to that for hours. You're attention to detail is unrivaled! Great job again, Tanner!
I don't think it's not what you mean by scales, but when he put those bricks in there I thought "there is no way he pulls this off, they are too tall for that enclosure", but his work is top notch as always.
This has to be one of my favourite builds of yours. Don't get me wrong, I love the big stuff too, but there's something so gentle about this one it's really magnitizing
One of this Shishi's would be amazing on your outside pond on a bigger scale. My favorite aspect of them that you can't get from small scale is the sound of the bamboo tube hitting when it comes back into place.
Happy to see your hand healed up ☺️ this is so cool. Been watching your vids in 3-2020. Thanks so much for sharing all the cool things you make. This is the first piece I want to recreate. So many cool tidbits in this one. Will take me a while but it's so cool 😎 gotta try

I love the sound

I´m always so blown away by how innovative you are doing these projects. So inspirational and calming to watch at the same time.
Thank you for clarifying the sound thing, i was legitimately curious when i furst heard it
Tanner is so creative. His creations are amazing, and the way he presents it all is so beautiful. A true artist.
Yea
Seeing those bricks made think how cool a post apocalyptic terrarium could be. Nature reclaiming the man made
He has made something with red bricks as the focus before
Here you go :)
@@arnie0199 I really enjoyed it that.
I lov that idea! Like a chernobyl documentary hehe. With Giant wood loaches as the critters.
The sound is so relaxing I would love an hour live video of just watching it run. So mesmerizing, this has to be my favorite build so far.
the sound is amazing. love tht solid click
Same
Omg maybe he’ll post a hour recording
I’d honestly watch any of his tanks for hours
Funnily enough these "fountains" are apparently made to scare away animal.

Love the sound the bamboo hitting the stone than the stones hitting..so soothing
Those are the most peaceful wee sounds it makes
I like it. The proportion of the dracaena, rocks, and plants make it look like a natural setting. To avoid bamboo splitting, soak it for a few hours in water before handling.
I wasn't sure what to expect from the micro-scale shishi-odoshi, but it still produces an excellent sound. Absolutely love it.
I love the little click the bamboo makes when it hits the rock
You really never run out great ideas.
You're one of the reasons why i started this hobby.
Greeting from the philippines

the little sound of the bamboo clicking against the rock is perfect
I'm so glad you posted your 10 year video. I realized youtube had marked 10+ videos that I had "seen" but I had not. Happy to circle back and enjoy these.
I love the sound that the moving part makes when it tilts
The sound of the fountain tipping and righting itself is the best part! It’s like a little water clock.
This is the most beautiful little fountain I've ever seen
The tick on the rock makes it even more awesome! Great job!
The way you envision these projects and bring them to life blows me away every time!!!!

I love that iconic shishi-odoshi sound 🥰
Really love the rhythmic clacking sound
Tanner, you always make these builds look so easy! We know they aren't! It's beautiful as always, and the sound is perfect! Thanks for sharing.
The clicks of the fountain is extremely calming for me.
Just wanted to say thank you for your uploads, they have helped me out immensely and just wanted to show my appreciation
Your videos calm me down. They are soothing too my soul.
I think you should design this specific one as kits, so that we’ll be able to create them at home. That would be dope.
This will be a great project to come back to in a later video... I'm very interested in how that faux bamboo turns out! Your latest venture into Japanese inspired art is very exciting for me, personally... just wonderful!
By far the absolute best set up you've made
Looks like there’s gonna be some happy bamboo out there
just one word Tanner "amazing" I am blown away again :)
Idk why but the sound of the little clink when it fills with water and drops then comes up again 100% makes this piece. That sound is so satisfying and calming.
This turned out amazing! I love how it breaks the silence while still feeling peaceful.
the little clink when the bamboo hits the rock an then the back rock hitting the rock gives a peaceful sound i love it
I’ve never done a scape, this video is making me dip my toes in and try it.

Absolutely wild about this build, Tanner!!!
The sound of this is so nice, I love it dearly. Great job!
The tap of the bamboo stick is almost hypnotizing.
Very ingenious build. I really love the soothing sounds and the movement ❤
This is without doubt of your most beautiful projects.

Good lord this is one of the best concepts yet
Strong BOTW vibe with this winner here Tan The Man.
Love the bamboo and moss. Good to see your finger is on the mend too
Such a beautiful fountain. The drip of water and the sounds of the moving fountain is so zen and slows the mind. Can spend hours looking at it .
Huge congrats. This guy is so good he makes my palidariums look like just a pile of mossy stones.
