You have such an easy soothing voice to listen to and I appreciate your humility, along with the tips you provide. I am 53 and menopause has caused a lot of changes in my skin and how I need to apply makeup. Your tips have helped me deal with my "new" face!

I just bought the Chanel Tisse Rivoli quad, it has this one soft, slightly shimmery neutral rosy mauvey taupe that isn’t too dark and isn’t too light and is perfect as an all over lid shade. The other shades in this quad are gorgeous too…but the taupe one is absolutely perfect.

Very pretty color on you ! I have hooded eyes plus deep set and small, a real challenge ! I always do the light accent under my brows too, and the corners of my eyes, really opens them up. BK Beauty is having a Mother’s Day sale right now, just placed and order for more of their brushes. I can’t believe the difference in how much better my makeup applies with them ! I love the way my grey has come in but not the way my brows have thinned and lightened. *I'm with you all the way on your brow tips* but I have never been a fan of brow pencils and have always used brow powders. BH cosmetic made a wonderful two color powder but I don't see it on their site anymore. :-( Anastasia Beverly Hills makes a nice one but it is more money. For my coloring, I use "Ash" in both. Totally agree with you re: shadow placement. I do my eyes before I do my face and use a folded cotton round moistened with a bit of micellar water to clean up the line from the corner of my eye to the end of my brow and any shadow fallout. Also completely agree with your "contouring" with your eyeshadow. At 67, I'm still a fan of color, color, color . . . judiciously applied of course. Oh, love, love, love Profusion Brushes. Have a double set of the contoured, black satin handled collection.

That’s my only look now since this pandemic happened and the also found that using just my bronzer on my eyes and cheeks gives me a very natural look for every day.

I sweat heavily so usually I wear just eye makeup and maybe lipstick. I like the tubing mascaras because it works with sweat, but at times I have a hard time with the big brushes because they cause transfer.

I’ve heard many times that brows that go too low at the tail end drag the eyes down, but my brow tails grow like that naturally. I’m grateful to have pretty good brows at my age, though. I find it interesting the few women I’ve seen do one and done eyeshadow videos have not used shadows from a palette. Mostly they used single cream shadows. It’s smart to use a palette you already own.

Honestly - I think you're my new make up guru!! Its hard to believe you're in your *🤫* 60s!! You look absolutely beautiful & so fresh faced. Im 48 this year & feel so frumpy & worn. Im disabled & my bodys been through a lot over the years. I lost a lot of weight in 2019 & looked & felt my best in years. But fast forward 2yrs & Ive put it all back on because of fatigue, pain, discomfort & medication. Oh...and a teeny tiny thing called a 'global pandemic' didnt help either. My mental healths taken a nose dive too. But love watching your videos as u have such a lovely way & remind me of my beloved mum, who I lost in 2018. Sorry for the long, post but I just really want to get that out there. XoX

I need to try this but with a shade like stone age or fascinated. I have redness at the inner and outer corners of my eyes. Mauve and berry shadows don’t look right on me, I have very light blue eyes. I do use concealer.
I’ve noticed that the one and done it’s so much more flattering to my eyelid now. I think it’s because I’m not trying to differentiate between the parts of the eye as that can work against me especially with transfer. I’m just trying to make my eyecolor pop. And it definitely is quick and easy. I also have tried your trick of keeping the brows more horizontal lately too and i like it! Using existing eyeshadow palettes also give you a different look every day if you want to so its not boring. The one you chose is a perfect example of being able to do so many different looks every day.
Wayne Goss has a video that shows us over 50 gals that light eye shadow on the lid close to the lashes bring the unlined part of the eye lid forward. Lately I just sweep on a light matte nude color on the entire eye lid and then a some black mascara and the wrinkled eye lid is less obvious.

I have very blonde eye brows and don’t want them to look drawn on so I ignore them. They are what they are! I have never had to shape or pluck them.
