I felt the same way with The Naturals series and just finished Out On a Limb and just giggled and had a good time. I enjoyed A Novel Love Story and the vibes but I felt the same way with the characters. My amount of books that I usually read a month is usually 6 or 7 depending on the length of the books. Happy reading!
I was hoping I'd see your new clear the cart before I headed on vacation to Cocoa Beach tomorrow!! Kingdom of Ash was such a doozy but still good. Not my fav in series but the ending was fantastic. To be able to read the rest of these books on top of KoA is a huge accomplishment!
Thank you for posting this Jess! So fun to watch. I am now thinking about reading the Lucy Score book potentially because I’m really looking for a romance that has a good mystery too! But I didn’t love the second book in the series very much.
I am taking a social media break and I am so missing your Instagram stories. I am happy I am able see your content on here!! I gave Novel Love Story 5 stars. I think she is my favorite author next to Christina Lauren.
If you want to read a book with a wholesome FMC named Everly check out Love & Let Chai it’s actually book 1 apart of the seaside cafe mystery series. It’s a cozy mystery based in a beach town in North Carolina. Books are easy reads and have fun characters. Everly owns a cozy seaside cafe called Sun, Sand, & Tea. Love your videos and energy 🫶🏽
If someone is “reading” more than 8 books a month they’re either dnfing some, counting manga and audiobooks as reading ( they aren’t. Just because the word “book” is in audiobook doesn’t mean they’re reading, theyre listening to someone else read to them) or theyre not retaining anything theyre reading by skimming. I’ll be generous and say you can read 10 if you don’t have a job or children or arent married. ( I obviously mean books that are at least 200+ pages) point is, theyre taking shortcuts somewhere to achieve double digits in the amount of books they read a month
This challenge is so satisfying
cannot wait to roll an *empty* tbr cart into the frame at the end hahah
I agree! I get so excited when the videos pop up on my page.
I look forwards to these Clear the Cart videos every month!!!!
🥹🫶 thank you! I am having the best time filming the series...idk what I'm gonna do when it's over, lol!
“The best part of this one, for me, was the dog” 🤣
😂🙃
lol I was coming here to comment the same thing!
I always Look forward to your monthly reading wrapups. They’re so entertaining, and always get me excited to read!
I need to do this with my bookshelf next year…im going to implement a rule that i can only buy half the amount of books i take off. You got this!
I really enjoy seeing you clear the cart girl! Great progress 😆🫶🏾
yay, thank you! I was looking back at what my cart looked like in June when I started and I'm so proud of myself...almost there!

I feel like 6-8 is my happy place to actually remember what I read. Too many more than that and they all run together for me 😅😂

omg cocoa beach...have so much fun!!! I was there like 3 weeks ago 🥰 I'm with you KoA wasn't my favorite but that ending!!!!
You're rocking the challenge! And The Women was such a good book, loved reading it

@@jejensen08 I didn’t like the second one much either! This one was better to me!
1000% agree on KoA and ToG. KoA was like 300 pages too long. I felt that way about everything after QoS.
I love Hannah Bonam Young!! She’s got such good books
I bought all of them after I read this one 😂
Loved the Women and Love Unwritten also!
ACOTAR > TOG 💖
I love this challenge!! Definitely going to try it out soon❤
I absolutely love watching you clear the cart!!! How did you make the page with all the books on it? I love seeing all the books getting checked off!!
wooo, thank you! I made it in Canva - it took forever to save all the book covers tbh 😂
@@jessmmassey I can imagine. I just love seeing the list get shorter and shorter!!

@@pauline_valencia i used to get that a lot when i had dark hair 🤭 so grateful for you - thank you!
Do a video on what you thought about the throne of glass series!
Love your videos. There is actually another Nationals book which is called Twelve. It is a novella and all of the characters are adults.
whaaaat! I did not know this so thank you for telling me!
@@jessmmasseyit’s usually in the back of your copy of Bad Blood! It’s a novella 🥰
@@arianasmithreads Oh, I did not realize. I have not finished the series yet, so I did not know that.
I am loving following this journey lol Some of the books are chunky girls. So it’s more like you read 14 books! Lol
@@VioletFS honestly thank you for validating me because it really felt like it 😂

I'm not a big contemporary reader but I read next of kin By Hannah Bonham young and ❤❤❤❤❤❤ it
Woah I’m early ! lol hi early crew
