Butlers DO NOT follow you around all day! They do unpack for you, make restaurant reservations, bring you lunch, bring you drinks, reserve seating on the beach or at the pool....the list goes on and on. You can find a list on the Sandals website. A lot was said on this video that was opinion and not necessarily fact.
Louis Kanellopoulos the people were fine! The roads were the problem. There is a lot of winding and the only highway was not yet finished. The ride was extremely bumpy and too fast for comfort. However, it seems like everyone in Jamaica drives in that manner. It was also raining when we arrived. The drive is still worth the quality and isolation of the resort.
They put a $400 hold on your card for incidentals and anything you choose to do on the resort. For example, if you go to the gift shop you can either pay with cash or card or put it on your room. Regardless, they put that hold on your card, so you have to make sure you have that much extra cash available :) I hope the video helped!
As I said, I did not have a butler myself. However, on our particular trip maybe people chose to have their butlers around at all times. I apologize for misspeaking.
@@KivaBrent yeah, be careful and get private insurance, not the stuff Sandals offers. Their insurance is useless. Sandals can close their resort and not give you a refund. 'Non refundable' to them means even if they cancel your trip, you don't get a refund. They'll offer vouchers with all sorts of restrictions and blackout dates. Also, I'd buy my airline tickets straight from the airlines, not through Sandals. It's been over 3 months since Sandals cancelled our trip and we're still fighting to get our airline money back.

It was a bad road but now it's a high way so not scaryany more.

If the servings of food weren't big enough, just ask for more lol. It's unlimited.
