I think you're the first person I heard who likes the sound of the metal mute better than the rubber one. I like metal mutes and I've used them for years, but I'm not fond of the thin sound the violin produces with it.
It appears that you have mounted the Ultra mute (the rubber one) backwards. Mine fits much lower. Thank you for your videos
You should have also played the unmuted sample.
