This is definitely the best explanation I've seen on TH-cam for this plugin. I didn't really understand what each parameter was used for until you showed examples of what each one does. Thanks Thomas!!
Thank you, I'm glad the video helped you get a better grasp. It is a feature packed plugin. Using Dehancer is how I imagine a flight simulator is, but for film processing and dealing with film irl to some degree :D Definitely some new lingo and quirks that gave me more understanding of film and the film look in general.
Yes, for a few projects and things dating back a few years. As we've been in a similar field in terms of product development when it comes to film looks. So there's a history there for sure. But quite a complicated and none traditional one in the sense of now being an affiliate.
Well, here is a much smarter decision… Dump Premier pro and start using da Vinci resolve which is much much much much better than premiere. In every possible way. I just don’t understand why anybody would keep paying for Premier pro when da Vinci resolve is so much better. And then you don’t need Dehancer because the tools in resolve can do 99% of everything you need.
I can't answer on everyone's behalf but I've owned DRS for a couple of years and I open it every once in a while. But I'm still nowhere near as efficient in Resolve as I am in Premiere and despite all these years, I haven't had the time to put in the time and effort it would take to become as efficient in Resolve or at least get to a point where I'm able to make a decision on which NLE that fits me and my workflow the best. The coloring in DRS is great and the only reason why I've kept it installed. Although I've only graded a few test clips and based on my current knowledge of Resolve obviously took me way longer than it would have done in Premiere and as the results weren't better (again because I don't feel at home in Resolve) I can't defend myself going over to Resolve. And I can only assume this is the reason why alot of people stick with Premiere, they either don't have the time to migrate or maybe they're happy with their current workflow and don't see a reason to switch. On another note, there's a lot of Davinci Resolve users using Dehancer.
Thomas, thanks for such a fascinating review! Awesome results 😃
Thank you, it just keeps getting better and better. And I feel like I barely scratched the surface.
Great content. Any idea whether their lifetime license is true lifetime ? I mean, do we get automatic update when it moved to a major version ? Thanks
@@rcmanoj We always inform our users on the updates and indeed, all the updates are free of charge with a lifetime license.

Have you paid for Dehancer before becoming their affiliate?
