    Aye sire...You are cent percent correct...I have just swithced ..my job..where i was working on Allen Bradley 1400 PLC..now.. at new Job.. they are using Variety of PLC like Omron,Siemens etc..
    I m surprised that u got hands on PLC at the age of 15..
    In INDIA..we get after 25..if u are lucky. :(

    Is there a way to access the value of the counter at any point? I am trying to count the number of faults in a given part cycle and move that value to another data register. I am used to AB where timers and counters have bits automatically associated with them (.TT , .DN etc...)

      Not that I can recall, I remember these being more restrictive than Siemens and Allen Bradley Counters.

    Is it really a true Retentive Timer though? Do you not lose tenths of seconds each time you hit the Stop Button before the Timer hits the full second and increases the Timer count.
    Great video though, great tutorial!

      That is correct, however if we want that much accuracy, we would then look at the specs of what we can get from a PLC
