- Sooooo I bought a chain from Jaxxon. Yes, the Instagram ads Jaxxon. I was curious as to if it's any good. Watch me unbox this bad boy.
This is a 5mm, 14k Gold bonded 22-inch Cuban chain.

Sooooo I contacted Jaxxon about my order not coming with a certificate of authenticity. They said their products do come with it and it was an error not including it. Customer service was really nice and they’re sending one out to me. Not a huge deal but I was just making sure lol
Real gold is less durable and more fragile if you get a good gold plated chain like jaxxon it will last longer it wont chip you can shower with it and you can pass it down for generations since sterling silver is very durable
@@XXXTentaclez Jaxxon is trash. Bought a 5MM from them two months ago and it’s fading like crazy, that’s including me not taking shower or getting the chain wet. They are definitely not what they set out to be.

@@XXXTentaclez Cancel if you can. It’s that bad. You get a nice good look chain but only temporary and just a waste of money because you will not want to wear anymore after a while because it will look silver.

What size in length and what metal.
I don't think it was silver that caused you to get rashes. More than likely it was cheap nickel or something. Btw, your chain is gold bonded. It's not gold plated or gold filled. Another thing, if you want it to last two or three years without fading, do not go swimming with it on. Chemicals and salt will damage it over time..

I bought a JAXXON 14K solid gold 2.7mm Cuban link, was 960$, I got 10% off, paid 924$ after tax and it’s very nice!
I guess it all depends on the end game. Fancy enhanced costume jewelry with some gold plate is fine but going solid gold is the way for the long term residual value. I recommend saving money for the real deal if you don’t have the bread today.
I think that's the goal.. I got the Jaxxon 5mm. Cuban 24 in gold today but its just to hold me over since I got many other things to buy.
I will say Jaxxon customer service hits you back fast compared to many other companies.. IE email questions. 👍✌️

I believe in the women's they have an 18". It's the same as the men's chain but under 20" they're considered women's.

It’s not real gold it’s steel covered with gold pretty good quality nonetheless
@@angelmartiniz6848 well it’s gold plated silver, which you are buying from any jewler, it’s recommended not to do anything more than 18k cause gold is so soft and brittle it can brake easily at 24k and that’s what happened with me when I got a necklace custom made for my gf it was so soft and brittle it broke in half ( custom name plate necklace for reference )
its a very thin layer of gold over sterling silver basically no gold of value over it but the chain is made of 925 sterling silver you’re thinking of a solid gold chain which the whole thing is gold

What is Gold bonded? Is it better than gold plated, gold filled or gold vermeil (gold plated over silver). How is it better than any other gold plated jewelry. What I know is gold plated over stainless steel is da best and it never fades. So why is gold bonded any better than other plated jewelry.?
To my understanding, Gold bonded is a stronger way to apply the gold to the base metal over gold plated. I could be wrong but this is what I thought.

Sterling silver is hypoallergenic so you likely had a chain that was not 100% sterling silver in the past.
