This is a money grab. An aging band with an aging fan base simply cannot have a new singer perform Chester Bennington songs. Either start a new catalog that won't appease the older fan base, or start from scratch as an older band with a new female singer and appease a younger crowd that won't understand any of it.
All so fucking sad my 4 year old boy sung this in 2002 or whenever. He died loved LP then chester dies then I find offspring with Emily singing together now front of the Park .... all swings roundabouts she has done chester a great service ❤
Awwwww. I love this! These guys are including a new singer to a band that had such an amazing singer and it sounds just as good.. she doees not ruin the song at all. ❤❤❤❤
Não entendo como alguém pode criticar isso! Só pela coragem de estar ai, assumindo toda essa pressão e responsabilidade já é um feito incrível. Além disso, ela canta muito! Estou feliz por ver a banda de volta com toda essa energia.
Mike didn’t stop smiling the entire concert. For his band to be performing again, for the fans to hear them again, for Emily to debut with them, and for the legacy Chester left to continue with them… mans is excited for the future and I couldn’t be happier to see it. I’ll continue following beat by beat.
I'm astonished by her voice, this was the first LP song I've ever heard (back in Chester great days- RIP), it was back when I was a middle schooler and heard it between Meteora and Minutes to Midnight era, after it I started listenning them all the time, Minutes to Midnight was the album I followed the recording and the release the most in my life. Respect from Sao Paulo, Brazil! \o
Agree, I dislike it when she growls because it sounds stiff and limited in range, and feels like she tries to live up to Chester’s legendary screaming, but when she goes melodic and full range it sounds beautiful and makes me think of the alternative universe where the band a had a female lead singer. It’s certainly intriguing to see how the band develops. I wish she had more faith in herself at 0:47 and 1:42 and sung the whole verse, it started great.
How many days did I spend watching the memorial concert thinking they wouldn’t get it together and crying.. but Damm I’m crying in happiness for my guys! Love the new changes you guys took your time but amazing choice! We all backing you up 🎉LP
I am just straight up crying!! This band got me through those difficult teenage years and now as an adult and getting out of an abusive relationship hearing them again with Emily really got to me again. So happy that Chester's legacy will go on.

But in the end, it doesn't even matter
wow... Linkin Park is back...
It starts with
One thing, I don't know why
Doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
Didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Tryin' to hold on, di-didn't even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mockin' me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised that it got so far
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I've put my trust in you, pushed as far as I can go
For all this, there's only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you, pushed as far as I can go
For all this, there's only one thing you should know
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
Ummm....not sure about Emily but hey! The band is continuing to perform and live their legacy! All the best to them!
