Reed, Thank you so much! My "happy place" is being outdoors regardless of weather! In my "younger days" I participated in Search & Rescue as well as pre-hospital EMS (winter highway wrecks, etc.), outdoors in ALL weather! Now retired my outdoor life is gardening, growing veggies, fruit & flowers but this vid takes me outdoors with you! Much appreciation from this "lil ole lady" in Colorado, blessings and be safe ............!
Props to the GOAT 🐐 of storm chasing….I’ve been going to beaches all along the east coast since I was a child….This is definitely the first time I’ve ever seen ice on the Beach….Thanks again Reed!!!!
Hi Reed. Over here in England, I have the central heating up at a comfortable 23 degrees and this still made me shiver. Knowing my luck, I would have gone base over apex on that bridge…
I wonder how many miles a year you drive to chase all these incredible storms? You are a true warrior, Wild West style. I appreciate the coverage. Keep up the great work. You have found your calling. I could never see you behind a desk. May 2020 you were a block from my house in South Dakota filming off exit 52 on the interstate. We totaled 2 cars during that storm and there you were on video.
Hey...@2:16 that's the Blockade Runner. My daughter & I stayed there May 2021 for my birthday! And why would they keep their blue beach chairs out in the winter. 🤨🤔
I had to drive to work in this kind of weather.. We had snowed first n then melted a bit and froze again so I was driving on about 4 inches of see through ice.. The most scary part though was driving along side a river, that was a long way down, so that was scary but the ice would be thicker do to the condensation that came up from the water.. Most people didn't have to work but, my job was helping the cold n low income and seniors, get money and or help deal with the electric and gas companies turn some of the people get there utilities turned back on or stop that from happening.. SO, I had to work.. Geez, sry.. A little long.. Great word Reed.. Been with you since Discovery Channel day's.. 😘
It is crazy to see this here because I have been to these places, often multiple times. These beaches are very accessible due to being well connected to the Interstate.
Get this man to 500k I mean come on its reed timmer from discovery channel dude is a stud I wanna say he is the only thing I still from my childhood that I watch!! Doing what him and his best friend loved to do chase tornados chase massive storms threw all the adversity R.I.P JOEL

The opening reminds me of when we used to go out early to set up the duck decoys at Chaumont Bay
in Upstate NY. Cold and crunchy quiet.
