- Jessi Harewicz swims without a wetsuit in the cold ocean water off the coast of Vancouver as she trains to complete the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
As part of her preparation Jessi swims in water as cold as 8 degrees and times up to 20 hours. She has already completed the first two installments of the Triple Crown; the English Channel and the Catalina Channel. She will attempt a circumnavigation of Manhattan on June 1st, 2019. If she completes it, she will be the third Canadian to do so.

Wow, the cold , the distances, the therapeutic benefit. It is a beautiful video. Very inspiring, waters in Puerto Rico are warm. My distances are much much shorter but swimming in the open water is the best activity ever.
