"eyes up" made a huge difference in my surfing! All tips are really important. One tip the is very difficult to me is "paddle position". As I am regular (right foot on the tail of the board), go to right is natural, but surfing to left is always a problem. It's hard to me keep the paddle in the wave wall. Let's practice! Having some balance issues paddling for the wave, noticed they are virtually in the surf stance as they are going for it. The girls position is similar to mine. I’ll have to change it as she is having the same initial take off issues. Cool once I’m on the the wave but a few early struggles. Nice waves, thanks.
So guys, please forgive my opinion but the hacks,the paddle shifts ,the paddle digs in the water while making a frontside turn. What does all that needless waste of energy and motion mean? From a dedicated SUPer. Ps for beginer SUPers out there there is no need to hack at the wave coming down the line while your board is powered. Gives us a bad look..
