- This week I take another trip to a Private collector of Koi who likes to grow his Koi as big as they will grow. A MASSIVE PRIVATE KOI COLLECTION of some of the biggest Koi I have seen in a single Pond.😮😮

Some Fantastic koi there, the owner must have dedication running through his/her veins as while the "old school" filters are good, they need quite a lot of maintenance, having had a multibay for the last 15 odd years, this year i swapped it out for a drum combi only for less maintenance becsuase of some of my fishies size and the amount of poop they produce.

Superb Andy. I really love seeing all of the basic filtration equipment totally doing the job. It really does prove that the hobby can be enjoyed and perfectly achieved on a much cheaper level, without spending thousands of pounds on fancy equipment. What a great pond that is !!!👍

What a fabulous pond Andy, the sort of place and fish most of us could only dream of. You don't realise the true sizes until the hand of the person is put in the water omg and quite a simple setup compared to most we see today absolutely mind blowing, thank you for this video and thank you to the owner for letting us see his beautiful koi.
