Cat cafes are great. They help keep cats out of the street, and give them a nice and safe environment to stay in. Plus, humans get to come in and give them love(and they pay for it too) ^.^ It's a win/win situation for everyone. I also love how well Japanese people treat stray cats. It's not unusual to find lil bowls of food and water being left out for strays.

Depends on the cat cafe. Some cat cafes have only pedigree breeds of cats and they buy them from breeders. Some use adoptable shelter cats. From the cats in this video, it seems to mostly pedigree. It's better to support cat cafe that actually use shelter cats.

Because usually people with cats ; their houses tend to have some sort of scent that lets you know they have cats lol if that makes sense

I had one of the worst days today and somehow you guys always just make things like 1000X better. I've been clean from self harming for a little over 4 months now, which is by far the best I have ever been in 6 years. And I honestly couldn't have made it this far without your videos. Whenever I'm in a terrible mental state I watch a video of yours and my day is instantly better. I don't know if you'll ever see this or understand how much of a wonderful and positive influence you have over so many people. But I just want to thank you for growing this channel and continuing to make videos.

I really love the decor in this place - the sky ceiling and the "trees" and so on, and it looked like the cats had plenty of places to run and hide if they got overwhelmed. I love this so much! This is how all coffee shops should be. Love from the states!
This was such an overload of cuteness and cats everywhere that I became overwhelmed and got teary-eyed and I really miss my cats. But seeing Simon so happy around those kitties made my day :)

My awkward Japan beard story ? I was doing an IT consultancy gig for a Tokyo university a few months ago, and when i went in for the job interview i was like *SIGH* I guess i`ll shave my beard to increase my odds at getting a job since it was a university after all. When i walked in the interview room my 2 bosses both had excellent beards and i felt sad having just killed mine .. for nothing :(
At any rate, this is a great cat cafe ! I've been there before. It's a bit more insane in terms of price compared to other cat cafe's but an actual menu for food & drinks , plus the size of the space makes it a much nicer stay than most other cat cafe's that just point you to a mini fridge and tell you to get a drink for free as part of your entrance fee.
Next up, you guys should check the owl cafe (Fukurou) in Akihabara ! :) And afterwards try what i think is the best curry shop in the city : sanrokugo (365) curry. Which is only in Akihabara.

Visiting your video again because I miss this place. In my recent trip to Japan, I made this spot as a must stop and it was as magical as your video. So easy to get to, and all the cats were so cute.

The black Persian cat was hilarious, and Martina's voice over made it even better! This cat café looks amazing! I've only been to one in Shinjuku, which was small and lovely but this one looks much better and the cats look way healthier :)

Always amazed how well cats in a cat café seem to get along with each other. I had five cats (all females), now four (don't worry; it didn't die; moved to my neighbor who loves cats too). Two of them tolerate each other that are siblings, otherwise they all despise one another. My leg got in between a recent fight and now it's bruised, bitten, scratched, generally mangled.

I been tot a cat cafe in Toronto and was disappointed because I hadn't made a reservation but that night I made a reservation for the next day and it was an amazing experience
