- www.eyesonthesky.com The open cluster Caldwell 16 is located in a typically unfamiliar region of sky, inside Lacerta the Lizard. And to make matters trickier, the cluster is somewhat sparse, and has the Milky Way for a background. So how to pick it out? Check out the video as Dave Fuller guides you step by step on how to locate the cluster, and find it. See what's up in the night sky every week with "Eyes on the Sky" videos, astronomy made easy.
Thank you for another great video.
I just bought an 8 inch Dob after 10 years away from the hobby and find your channel very helpful and informative. Keep up the great work!
Great to see you uploading again! Hope all is well with you! I have been watching your videos like mad, and with my new scope, they have been super helpful.
Thanks! Things are going okay - house hasn't sold yet, so uploads my be spotty for a bit, but I'll do my best to keep things fresh.
Glad to have you back David!
Hi David good to see you broadcasting again and what a beauty you’ve picked for us to find, but I’ll have ago at it. Hope all went well with your move and your all settled in and unpacked. Hope this is the first of a regular uploads
Hi Mark - unfortunately the house didn't sell last time around (bad appraisal) and so this time has been spent doing some thing to spiff it up for sale again. Actually had a bit of time this week to research this object and then make a video. I hope to do more, just not sure how regular they'll be... but I'll try!
Eyes on the Sky. It was nice to see you anyway David and I look forward to more vlogs no matter how far apart they are.
Good look with the sale and move. Hope to see you soon good luck
Glad you are back !!!
I'll do my best to make them more regular, but I'll probably have to skip weeks here and there for a bit.

Looking good David. Welcome back. Might give this one a try with by big binoculars.
It can barely be seen with them - that "sweeping" motion is necessary for sure!
Another great video. I hadn't thought of finding C16 but now it's on the To-Do List.

I'll do my best to upload as often as possible - just be patient until I get into a new place (my house hasn't sold yet).

This might be off topic but last year, I saw Neptune (bright dark blue dot) with my telescope, because it close to Mars. I was so happy 🔭🔭🔭
