Thank you! Sure enough, this was the cause of the bogging/backfiring symptoms on a friend’s 2001 Polaris that the previous owner had put a new carburetor on 😂

I took mine apart to the camshaft and it looks good. Any other ideas?? Mine has the same symptoms as yours. I’m at a loss

Son that looks like the oil port to that area is clogged or partially blocked

No, only the 500 is universal
