I'm so glad someone finally gave me some into that was helpful. I was just about to adjust my valves but you just assured me that I was going in the right direction. Thank you
Thank you! Sure enough, this was the cause of the bogging/backfiring symptoms on a friend’s 2001 Polaris that the previous owner had put a new carburetor on 😂
This man saved me so much money on my 2002 scrambler 500 luckily this was one of the first videos I watched 🙏would recommend getting the hardened steel cam shaft it’s about 140$ and worth every penny
I will be doing this job, thanks for putting it up. I recommend replacing this part too. If it’s worn the camshaft wears faster: th-cam.com/video/xBMTYu4OneA/w-d-xo.html

Been dealing with this issue on my 400 sportsman. Tried everything but i think you gave me the solution. Great video.
Great job.
Thank you very much.
Thank you man.
Thanks man good video
Can you send me a link to the cam shaft part? Pleasesss
Do you have a video of you replacing it?
What if it’s acting up with loss of power like this but not until the machine is hot?
I took mine apart to the camshaft and it looks good. Any other ideas?? Mine has the same symptoms as yours. I’m at a loss
Son that looks like the oil port to that area is clogged or partially blocked
Canshaft made of chinesium
Would this apply to a scrambler 500 2x4?
The 500 engine is the same for all of them
can i check on that without fucking anything up? do i need a new gasket? thanks for the video man
I have a 2019 sportsman 450 losing power
Is ranger 700 the same ?
No, only the 500 is universal
