I understand what the judge is trying to do, and I've known this type of defendant, but when the white clerk girl starts to spout her mouth, not under oath or presenting facts, and the judge gets into his "light you up like a Christmas tree", this becomes a kangaroo court. The kid has no chance in front of this bowtie-wearing traffic court magistrate.

@@marioc63 I mean the guy had an order not to use drugs, was ordered a drug screening by the judge, and tested positive for drugs. They have all of that documentation assigned to the case, and the testing was done in the court building. They have all of the paperwork for that drug test, so she was in fact just relaying that particular information to the judge.
Like this court date was for the guy's bond, it wasn't a trial. And while no drug condition was only added to the bond when the drug test was issued, he had an order two months prior from the magistrate against using THC. So he was still in violation of a court order.

This has to be one of the best attorneys I've seen in judge Fleischer's court. I remember when he had to remove his own client to stop him from arguing with the judge and worsening his sentence and even at 2:33 you hear him whisper "don't speak" while his client is presumed innocent. Honestly nice to see someone who understands their role, and understand people and how they behave.

Perfect, judge Mercy with accountability. He’s laying out the rules if you break them, he’s coming down with the hammer and you have only yourself to blame. Only if all judges were like him, you can have mercy. You can be lenient, but hammer must fall when you break the rules. I hope he is elevated, and he keeps climbing the ladder because judges like him are very rare. This kid is headed to a life of misery and the judge wants to give him every opportunity to make the right decisions..

In my government, after so many times being warned of criminal activity taking place, the last time you get warned comes with a letter to your family to attend his last court hearing. I'll just leave it at that. I wouldn't be playing games with anybody. There'd be a green, yellow, orange and red court room. You have until the red court room to get it right. If you end up in the very last court room, that is it for you. Done, right thare.
