Before diving into emails, Jared and Jordana discuss the backlash to a Forbes article, “Are We Still Not Ready For A Mixed-Weight Romance On Screen?”, and the topic of mixed-weight relationships in general. Next, the first emailer wants to know how to let a guy know that you aren’t interested in hanging out when you still have to work - or be stuck in some capacity - with him. The Awkward Encounter is a dating don’t when you’re feeling anxious. Then, the second emailer needs help navigating her way out of a sticky situationship. The episode ends with a “Red Flag or Deal Breaker?” about prolonging the talking stage, living with an ex, and leaving out an important detail post-sex.

I mean damn, I get that he probably had no bad intentions and maybe they were wasted, but she could have gotten pregnant and missed a window for the after pill because he didn't tell the condom went missing... Now imagine that in a place where abortion is illegal. And unfortunately the amount of people getting regular STI checks is very low :(

oy vey. the listeners who wrote in during this episode make my head hurt! I feel for the listener who has no self respect. He’s telling her what he has the capacity for and she’s not listening. And hey, marriage doesn’t have to be the goal. I don’t want to get married and my partner just had a conversation about this and how at first it’s confusing to wrap your head around, but then he was like “okay cool!” And I’m sorry to the last listener, but I hope that chick realizes you don’t get to know someone over text AT ALL. I was really disappointed by Jared’s comments on this episode. If you put yourself in the public sphere like he does, he should expect to get some “hi” messages. It’s not a big deal bro, people like you and want to say hi. Shitting on people for saying hi is mean and unnecessary. Friendly reminder that you are “famous” bc of your fans.
