how much differnce in mrf, Bdstone, michilin tyres ? did u compare... ? if yes , i would go with b and m tyres... now days tyres are on emi also

Great experience on highway, better riding quality as compare to 16” & better road grip & cornering…
But as the same time
Worst experience on Rough roads where you will feel bumps throughout the driving…

Ohhh, well my personal experience is - Driving dynamic has changed because of low weight in Alloy wheels, braking ability got improved as well & Little bit positive effect on mileage too...

No they will not charge 2000 per alloy..
It's depends on how good you can negotiate 😉 or depends on your sales skill.
May be they will charge Approx. 4-5K extra per Alloy wheel..

Not recommended because of so many reasons..
Gap between Tyre & body will get decreased & it may Touch to car body when crossed over pot holes.
Variation in the actual & speedometer reading..
Odometer Reading mismatch (It may show extra km as compare to actual reading)

It will increase only when I changed the Alloy from 16 to 17" but didn't change the tyre...

Well, If we install 215/60 profile tyre then obviously tyre ka circumference badh jayga & technically it should not get increase more than 2%.

Better install 16” Alloy wheel, if you have W6 or W4 model..!
Big size tyre or low profile tyre only helps in better grip with road which gives better ride comfort on smooth roads only & which is opposite on bumpy roads where it give u a very bumpy ride..!

It is possible, may be showroom will upgrade it to diamond cut Alloy with an additional charges that can be between 7.5 to 15 Thousand depends on the Nature of showroom & their service..
But it's purely depends on them..

Alloys are only for looks, would have been more functional tp upsize the tyres with bigger steel rim for added handling of wider tyres and add some fancy wheel cap to give that look.

It will not affect & speedometer will show the right speed, Coz Rim size increased but profile of tyre got decreased..

Though you have fitted 17 inch alloys the OEM tyre for it is 215/55 means 118.25 mm side wall height so actually it is smaller than 205/65 R16 wheels having 133.25 mm side wall. So the calculation is 133.25 minus 118.25 is equal to 15 mm so for both upper and lower part of side wall it is 30 mm or 3 cm means even though wheel is 17 inch means 1 inch extra then also it is smaller than 205/65 R16 wheel by 4.6 mm because 30 mm minus 25.4 mm means 4.6 mm
Nice calculation, but still it is under 2% compare to the original size, So will not face any issue..
Bro in creta/seltos the tyre sizes are 205/65R16 & 215/60R17 in base and top modal respectively....that creats a difference of 2.5% approx in overall diameter of tyre.
So, by this the first thing is if a company itself accept the difference of 2.5% than why not us???...and the other one is that the same size of 205/65R16 is provided in base modal XUV so we can also upgrade it to 215/60R16 that will increase the tyre profile as well as the ground clearance and look also👍

One size up or one size down can be fix easily in the the idel tyre rim or alloy..
Example: if you want to put 215 mm tyre in place of 205, then you can do it with existing rim or alloy, but if you want to put 225 mm tyre in place of 205 mm then you need half inch wider alloy compare to existing

At the time of purchase my budget was 10 Lakh, Still I stretched it to 10.70..!
Since then I am saving money 💰 every month to install accessories in it..
Almost 80% have Installed, now only pending is rear camera & DRL'S.

My budget was 10 lakh, still I stretched it to 11 including accessories.
So not possible to spent 12.50 lakh for W8, for further upgradation & Modification we can save in a year to spent..

I had to purchase only diesel variant, so was coming little higher to me..
be very careful guys.... in Tyre size.. 215 or 205 with is ok, but never downgrade from 65 to-- 55 or 50.... it will reduce the depth of Tyre and it will take one pathhole on highway to burst your Tyre with alloy completely.....
this is tried and tested in ford ecosport.... so company changed back to R 215/65 instead of 55 in Tyre....
same problem occured in Innova Crysta as well, where Toyota also changed back to R16 Tyre with depth = 65. ....
no matter what Tyre size is, depth has to be 65 or more..

1.10 is ex showroom price difference actually it is around 1.35 to 1.50 lakh compare to on road price..
My budget was 10 Lakh which I have already stretched by 60 to 70K for W6 including of accessories, spending 1.4 Lakh extra can be a additional burden on me in terms of excess loan amount..
So have done some savings in last 1 yr for these modifications..
