It's a paper *made* from wafer paper! All you need to do is blend a sheet of wafer with between 1/2c - 1/3c of water, add color and/or luster, and then pour this slurry over a pre-warmed non-stick pan (must be non-stick)...it will slowly dry into this beautiful lace! Thank you!!!
Do you mean when I'm wrapping the noodles? I use alcohol instead of water...the high alcohol content means that the liquid is volatile and evaporates much more quickly than water...so it doesn't dissolve the paper nearly as quickly as would water!
If you can access a mister that would be a good runner up...water really dissolves wafer paper quickly so if you want to avoid using alcohol, you would need to use the most scant amounts of water possible...so a mister, or you could try steam from the stove top. Be careful if you use steam, it can be very hot!

Can I ask how you did the small circular pattern on the outside of the cake? Is that wafer paper cut into circles.
PS Love the cake. It's really pretty.
Yes exactly! Pretty much like this but set in a line: th-cam.com/users/shortswv6DJqqO600?si=o3EnHI1lGjhs0sbv

How does the wafer paper not disintegrate when soaked in the liquid?

Скажите пожалуйста, Вы добавили к вафельной бумаге кусочек рисовой бумаги?
Да! Хороший глаз... Я подумал, что это поможет придать больше блеска и большей стабильности.

What is the white powder and is it used?
I think you are referring to the white/iridescent luster dust I use to give it extra shine? 😊
Que tutorial si no dicen los ingredientes
¡Es muy fácil, simplemente papel oblea y agua! ❤
