Thanks so much for the kind comment Tegan! We are all about being "lean" meaning getting the most out of the least. Our tripod that we use for all our videos was about $15 on Amazon. If I were you, I'd just pick a tripod that you are going to be happy with for all your projects!...Although to give a little better advice, if you are specifically only going to be filming recipe videos, I would go for one with shorter legs. If you get one with really long leg segments you could have a hard time setting it up on your counter or table.

Put your lighting improvement.
You need tripod to record.
Adjust the tripod which area you want film.
1. Pre measure all your ingredients.
2. Don't rush go slowly.
3. Complete in one attempt.
If you don't need audio detach that.
Zoom in you can bu clicking it.
Split the video.
To make it speed it slow and fast..
Make it rotate if you find that inveted.
Add title to it.
Add the Audio in it.

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah you can edit on your iPhone. There is an iMovie app for iPhone as well. It might be a little more difficult to edit, but it can be done!

For the zoom bit, should you zoom in while shooting or zoom in later while editing?
Also, would I need any lenses?
I'll be using my phone for shooting top and side angle.
