Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices. It's my MENSA admissions test, i think 60mins 50 questions IIRC, on average 1.2mins per question, 8 mutliple choices. Starting ezpz, towards the end very chim. You will feel the time pressure and forced to make your best guess sometimes. Zero points for no answer, so fill in every question even if you catch no ball, but they do give u some points for 2nd & 3rd best answer. I am glad I only had to do this once to qualify, I think nobody likes to be tested these kind of stuff :) If you ask why they are testing this to determine IQ, my opinon is Intelligence is the ability to predict future events accurately and then react/plan in the best way possible. To predict future events well, u need to be able to see patterns. Intelligent animals hunt in packs, predict the path of their prey, shutdown the possible escape routes. Even someone's character/behaviour is also a pattern that can be predicted. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to test the creative "reacting/planning" aspect and there is only test for the "pattern recognition", so IQ tests are only testing half of your Intelligence. Maybe you are someone who is very creative and can come up with brilliant solutions to problems. All these qualities are better captured through interaction in-person, like Interview questions
try a game called Shadow Era. IMO this is the best test for Intelligence in the most practical sense (creativity + prediction + adaptability). your ELO (skill) rating in the game correlates highly with your IQ. (Its a free mobile app, online multiplayer 1v1)
Q3 can be read top down or left right, if you look at the pattern top down, you take away the triangles in the top row starting from the right side instead.

the 3rd qn is -1 right logically. but i didnt see it as -1triangle. i counted everything. the left side from bottom to top in vertical is 4 5 6 then 3 4 5 so that means is [2] 3 4 so it's either D or C . Then i look at how the triangles are being place. i concluded it's D. I got everything correct except qn6. My brain just shut down. I can't figure it out LOL. However, I'm quite proud of myself. HAHAHAHA
For Q5, if you look at the 1st and 3rd row, they are identical, so all you need to have are the remaining blank ovals after subtracting the one in the middle. Did anyone else see that or did I just get it right by accident? Haha
