    These quarter scale cabinets you've built are awesome! I found your channel while doing some research on what it would take to build my own quarter scale Mortal Kombat cabinet, seems unlikely we will ever see one from NewWaveToys or Numskull. I know you're asked on every one of these videos about selling these... but you typically don't take requests, understandably so, due to the amount of time it takes. But I would totally be willing to buy a kit of the necessary CNC'd parts from you, along with the 3D printed files, artwork files, and a list of the items used. Maybe something like that would be a more viable option for people interested. Either way, great job on these!

      Thanks Cory, I appreciate your nice words! As for providing a kit, the problem is even after cutting out the parts, there are many times that I then have to cut angles on the CNC parts with my table saw or drill holes on my drill press, or do other "manual" processes to get the parts ready before assembly. Also to provide a kit, people will expect it to be a perfect fit and when you build stuff like this it never really is... And then there are those instructions that I would have to write. I don't have a full manufacturing shop. It's all just a hobby for me. Once you start selling and building things like kits, it becomes a job... :( But I am happy to provide any help in regards to sharing what I have learned on my builds.

      I don’t really do commissions. I just build ones I want and sometimes sell copies as it’s easier to build a couple when you’re building one. I don’t have any cabs for sale right now. But might make more Donkey Kongs in the near future.

    👍Great video! Awesome work! I have the Numskull Pac-Man. The Joystick is broken, it's hard to move up and right. How do I replace it? Is it possible to mod it to accept an external USB joystick.

    • @jamiemcshan
      @jamiemcshan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! You might contact Numskull, not sure if they would sell you a replacement stick or not. I tried to buy some from them, but they wouldn't sell just the sticks to me, but maybe for a warranty, they might. The other option would be to see if you could replace the stick with the same one from the NWT joystick like I did for this frogger build.
