Thank you so much. It worked once the RNG was in my favor. Some additional observations: The SE Tie Pilots stun (3rd ability) doesn't seem to work consistently. Also the omega for First Officers 3rd ability ("Pinning Shot") is crucial because it reduces the cooldown for all (!) First Order Ally's abilities by 1.
It's possible to 3 star the Rey event with gear 8 Ben Solo as long as you have the Force Dyad zeta and without Rey's Ultimate. I used R7 Rey, R5 Resistance Poe and Finn, and R7 Rey. It only took about 3 tries, but it played out basically the same as in this video.
So.. I tried it, it worked got a 3* against Rey. Now I can’t beat it again. She gets translation and it’s over. The stuns aren’t holding like I did it the first time.
They did? I didn't even see an update today? Sorry dude I wish I could afford to spend the crystals to go again and test more but I can't afford it. Weird that they did that out of the blue it was working this afternoon.

Went from not even close, to getting 3* with no ult Kylo. Thank you! Didn't think to try stunning Rey...haha.

The stuns from KRU can't hold if they are dispelled so you have to be careful

@rabidbeaver1138 it absolutely isn't fixed. No clue why he said that. That said, the stun from the pilot simply will not land. Just slkr and kru
