Thank you so much for mentioning my book, The Witch-ionary 🥰 There is no doubt that this book is a great guide for beginners, but it is aimed at witches of all ages, and I know a few very experienced witches have read it and said they too have learned something new 📚✨ None of the definitions are from TikTok, I used true definitions when curating this book. I’d love to send you a copy if you’d like so you can see for yourself 💗✨
I’ve really enjoyed the format of this video. And I really appreciate you having the cover of the book showing so I can write it down. You put a lot of work in this and I appreciate it!❤❤❤
My TBR just got so much longer! Also, let me echo the previous replies thanking you for the format. I am a very visual person and seeing the covers helps me remember the books
I’m definitely looking forward to Lazy Witchcraft! I go through phases of many low energy days strung together, so this one feels like it will help me a lot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kelly-Ann Maddox’s book sounds fantastic, and even Michelle Tea’s book. I will look up these two most certainly. Even “chronically magickal” is a book I will look into since I live with chronic pain. As an intermediate/advanced practitioner I know to take my medication and do my various medical treatments so it’s not a substitute for anything. I’m just of the opinion that witchcraft isn’t just for abled-bodied people. You can be ill and still practice witchcraft (and taking your pills!)… Yeah. My thoughts.
I have Kelly-Ann’s & Mat Auryn’s books. I haven’t delved into them yet but I am super excited to! I hope you recover soon. Thanks Hearth for another great video. 💫✨⭐️🌟
Thank you for the book list!! I know its time consuming to make these, but we really do appreciate these extensive lists since there’s so many options that there’s bound to be something for everyone
✨⭐️🌟I really enjoyed this video! I would never have known about most of these books without your video. Thank you taking your time to make sure we don’t miss out on any good books! 📚🌟⭐️✨
I got Witch in Darkness by Kelly-Ann Maddox. It was a very timely release for me. It has a lot of good advise along with a three things to write about and three affirmations to go along with each chapter that gets you to dig in more.
So I just read “Boys are witches too!” (the book came with a book mark) and my children loved it and I think it’s adorable. It gives some history in the first two pages and explaining boys can be witches too then it’s an ABC type book but not boring! My oldest watched your video with me and he picked out some things which led to a pagan/witch book rabbit hole that I’m extremely pleased with so thank you for the recommendations !
Sorry that you're poorly, feel better. I just ordered Welsh Fairies, Mhara Starling is really knowledgeable I love her! I have been working with The Good Neighbours for a while, I live in the welsh valleys where there are a few stories, and folklore where I live! Thank You for sharing these books with us, love to know about new releases. Get Well Soon.🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♂️🧚♂️
⭐🌟✨So many interesting books! I'm particularly interested in the ones related to practicing with chronic illness but many of the others as well. Hope you feel better soon.
⭐️🌟💫⭐️🌟 Thank you so much Hearth for this video and special thanks for keeping the book covers on screen. It makes the world of difference as I re-watch and collect my wishlist 😊. I hope you feel better soon ❤
⭐🌟 lots of new books some of which I didn't hear about..the witch's hammer is a definate for me. Thank you for sharing and al the work you have done in finding these titles feel better soon😊
🌟🌟thank you for all your hard work - I think the Pendle witches, folklore of Devon and disabled witchcraft are going to be my choices for this month 🌟🌟🌟
It’s so interesting how so Many of these books are talking about mental health and rough times (it makes sense due to the climate of the world) feel better Hearth ❤
Thank you Hearth for these book recommendations! Witch In Darkness by Kelly Ann Maddox is EXACTLY what I need right now. I just got done watching her video talking about her book, and discovered that we share something in common, a loss of a brother, recently. I of course, commented on her video. But a HUGE thank you, to you, for pointing me in her direction. Much appreciated ❤
Currently reading Witchcraft in Darkness, me and my family are currently homeless (in shelter) and have been roughing it for a couple of years now so im hoping this book helps ❤❤ Hope you feel better soon! Im also sick, my kids started school last month, so of course im catching all the germs 😅
⭐⭐⭐ Just finished watching this and I love the format of dividing the astrology and books only because I think it allows more time for delving into the astrology a bit more. I admit I've never really understood astrology other than the sun, moon, and rising. Houses confuse me but I love that you mention the planet info! I'm super interested in the Sea Magick book as I am a scuba diver and have a deep respect for the ocean. I'm also really interested in Baphomet Revealed, The Chaotic Witch, The Wheel, and Winter Magic. I love all your videos. Thank you!!
💫⭐️🌟✨💫⭐️🌟✨💫⭐️🌟✨ Great job, Hearth! Thank you! I think that my daughter will love “Baphomet Revealed”, and I’m really interested in “The Moon Apothecary”, “Witches: A Compendium”, and “The Chaotic Witch”. I love hearing about new books that are coming out, and you are always a breath of fresh air! Many blessings to you, Hearth!❤❤
Digging the new format of reading the book synopsis followed by both UK and US releases; definitely makes it easier to follow. I also like the separation of the book releases and the astrological events for the month. I'm for sure going to get The Psychic Art of Tarot (totally forgot that was coming out), the new translation of the Malleus Maleficarum, The Witching Year, and probably one or two others from this list. Thank you for putting the time and effort into this even while you're under the weather. 💙
There are many interesting books here! Top ones in my brain right now: Kelly-Ann Maddox's Witch in Darkness, Thorn Mooney's Witches Among Us, the Pendle Witches, and the several ones regarding chronic illness! ⭐🌟⭐
HA! I say microwave the same way, but there was one day while talking to my mom at Hellmart (walmart) Rico Suavve was playing and to him saying his own name, I looked at my mom and said "let's go look at the meecro wavees". Needless to say we had to leave because she was laughing so hard, had to get my meecro wavee a different day. As for the BOOOOOOOks (it's spooky season, I had to), I have added quite a few to my Kindle list, especially the Disabled Witchcraft and Chronically Magical as I'm losing my vision and have pain problems. I'm very glad to people are writing books like this!⭐⭐🌃🌃
✨✨ I did listen in chunks but to the whole list ☺️ (very nice background for some "I'm really sick and need to distract myself" embroidery). Now I realize I need to look up the 'spoons' reference because I've never heard that before 😅 Really excited about Chronically Magical, because to be honest it's probably the biggest barrier for me. Every book telling me to keep the home spotless or anger the spirits... 😬 I'm like, but I can't... 🥺
I’m a disabled witch as well and gods is my home a mess. I have depression piles all over. I decided to keep it clean from any more mess and when I feel up to it, take on a pile. I dedicate all cleaning to my patron deity as devotion. I have learned to cut myself slack as I’m working with less energy than your typical witch. I hope you learn to do the same, you are no less a witch for a bit of mess. I cleanse more often than most witches to make up for the mess. I figure it balances out 😂. Good luck on your path ❤
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hope you are feeling better! Thanks so much ! I really enjoy these book videos.. Just have to wrangle the funds together to get all the ones that interest me!
🌟✨Feel better soon!! That's a lot of books!! I'm not so sure about the crystal book. Judy Hall's Crystal Bible series is my favorite crystal books so anything crystals I tend to compare them to those.
Thank you Hearth!!🌟🌟🌟 I'm personally super excited for Witch in Darkness and Boys Are Witches too:) I have two boys and I find that most witchcraft and pagan books are written more with girls in mind so I'm excited to read that one to them:) I also think the Apostates Guide to Witchcraft would be such a good one for my husband:) Thanks again!!💕
⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️ I’m sitting here reading two of these books 😂. They’re good so far. I’ve also screenshotted like ten more. I’m especially excited for the sea magick one, as I am a sea witch, and the ones for low energy or disabled practioners as that’s me as well. Exciting list as always, feel better Hearth!
The crystal books I have read are not as extensive but I read them as they have great historical uses and folklore of the stones within. Crystal, Gem, And Metal Magic by Scott Cunningham, and The Crystal Handbook by Kevin Sullivan, the later may be harder to find. I love these for their folkloric value. Hope you feel much better very soon, Hearth. ❤
Hope you feel better soon Hearth. Thank you for doing these videos why you are not well. My fiance and I are both un well also her in the USA. Feel best soon and take care of yourself and get some rest and heal. Blessings ✨️
The ones for chronic illness and disabilities seemed interested. The others seem like mostly beginner books or references which can be found easily online for free. Great video. Thank you!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I hope you are feeling better! Thanks for doing this video. I am really tempted by Lexicon Lamiarum but I still haven’t finished Schulke’s Veneficium and I haven’t even started reading Mat Aury’s tarot book, which I bought last month.
I’m SO glad you included kids books! I’m always looking for new things to read to my 7 and 9 year old kids. I don’t know if you have yet, but if you’d be comfortable with it, I would love a video of recommendations for pagan kids! I’ve found a decent amount and plan to make my own video on it, but you definitely have way more knowledge on upcoming books haha!
The Sea Magick as that is my practice of interest and my alter is dedicated to. Has captured my interest. Though I already have Sandra Kynes' sea magic.
Still here! 🌟🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌠 These videos are always trouble (for my bank balance 😉) I've now bought Witch in Darkness which really appealed. I shall probably buy Something Wicked at some point too. Thank you for this run through - I hope you're recovered!
The Folklore of Devon. Definitely, lol. So many interesting books, my list is getting longer and longer. I think The Chaotic Witch and Baphomet are ones I'm going for next, after the Devon one, of course. :D And some stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love these videos! I have Witch in Darkness which I haven’t started yet and Mat Auryn’s book which I’m about a quarter of the way through. I ordered Sea Magic mostly because it looks like a beautiful book! I hope you feel better soon!
thanks for the book shares. I was ill in the beginning of October too. Thyme and ivy helped. Just now looking up which of the books are part of my audiobook subscription at Everand ...
Not a new book but one book ive recently read that id recommend to anyone who hasnt read it is of blood and bones Also asking Hekate to heal you from your illness and protect you from further illness
That was indeed a lot but thank you so much for keeping us updated Hearth! ⭐⭐⭐ I'm definitely going to get disabled witchcraft and chronically magic because I'm biased 😅 I had a chance to give a read to Mhara's book on Welsh fairies back in July because I had an artist commission in nort Wales about fairies and she was kind enough to share that with me. As a Welsh living witch myself I can't recommend it enough! 🏴
I’ve gotta say I really love this breaking up of the monthly updates! But I’m sorry you’ve got to push videos out when you’re ill. Be sure to get lots of rest and drink plenty of water ❤
Witchcraft is very individual. For instance, I use only things in the local environment while others buy stuff from overseas to use. Neither way is wrong, but some ways are wrong for an individual. I feel it's import to be true to our calling.
Thank you for stating that I agree I've been a witch since I was 13 teen years old and I'm now 52 years and I've seen that happen before with a bad ending they tried to replace med. Care with just magical care
Perhaps you might consider starting a book club. It would be fun to read one of these books along with you and discuss it.
@@Jem-ys7fq I second this! So fun!
This would be a great option for your patreon if you have one!
This☝🏻
I’m in!

Chronically Magickal and Disabled Witchcraft I am 100% getting 💕
The Red Mother by Marshall WSL released OCT 1st and it's a mix of anthology, folk practices, and narrative magics
Kelly-Ann Maddox’s book sounds fantastic, and even Michelle Tea’s book. I will look up these two most certainly. Even “chronically magickal” is a book I will look into since I live with chronic pain. I finally got to this half way through October... but I got to it! Always love jotting down more possible books to look into. 💖💫💖
Would you do a video on Agatha All Along? And what’s accurate about it. Love your videos!

Thanks. I will be getting several of these books
