Normally JYP do have control over his artist's discography however when it comes to Stray Kids, since he left everything up to Chan from the very beginning, he doesn't want to interfere in their style. JYP even admited himself that he is still awkward with the members except Chan. Also 3racha has been producing their music long before Stray Kids.

thank you for explaining that, I was really curious because I had that impression of JYP but that makes me so happy for Stray Kids, and I'm impressed at the trust he has in Chan - must have really proven himself, amazing!!
I'll definitely look into SKZ-Player and SKZ-Record more but it's really a lot of content around Stray Kids so I don't know when I will get to it... I might just do some reactions to those and watch most of them in my own time off camera :))
It's not just about SKZ producing their songs. but the quality of the song is just too good.
They actually have a series where they all produced music for fun together called 2 kids song and it is kind of fun getting an insight to see how they do it. Not sure if it is copyright friendly but it is a great little series. Will be excited for more of your reactions on skz!!

You will have to watch so much, you will need a week or two to revise. This is not counting the shows and performances. And so I advise you to watch everything. A very interesting group, talented in everything multitalented.what is most interesting in this group is that all that is now everything was created by bangchan🤗
I can tell there's soooo much content - good for them! but maybe I will have to check out some things off camera hahah otherwise my channel will be ALL Stray Kids, I also want to do full-album listens soon... but working my way through the guides and the MVs first and then we'll see!

the one main thing that Im proud of as a STAY is the range, the mala-taste servings of their discography. Like I know there are senior groups who has that range (or fellow 4th gen who i can't check out too much on coz im well fed by SKZ), but as someone their age, the lyrics seem to always reflect an aspect of my life (insecurities, growing up, stress, etc) and aren't too much about generic love songs or brag/hype songs.
they always appeal to each mood, they have a song for every mood or situation (like My Pace talks about taking your time, Voices is muting negativity, Side Effects reflecting mental condition under pressure, and really, Changbin's Streetlight which exposes his suppressed vulnerabity coz he wants to be a reliable person)
anyway, as many STAYs say, there are alot of SKZ content out there which you can react to for your channel or enjoy offline (although i guess those with copyright issues like stages are gonna be more of an offline thing haha)
I'd recommend mixtape 2.The music video is behind the scenes of them. It's very emotional. The lyrics are also amazing.Enjoy your reaction very much. Excited for part 2

In my opinion, I believe Stray Kids helped Got7 make the decision to leave JYP. I know that sounds odd or maybe even mean, but let me explain. It is actually more about J.Y. Park himself. Let me say this, you have an incredible group like Got7. Everyone in Got7 is very talented, weather it us singing, rapping, dancing, writing, or even producing and in some ppl all of the above. And you start seeing some success with them. But everything they sing or do is a product of JYP not from them. Even though we know they can. And so JYP being JYP wants to replicate GOT7. He does a show to find the next GOT7. He starts with Chan (Chris), who at this time had been a JYP trainee for several years. Had been roommates with Bam Bam and Mark from Got7 as well as Shownu from MonstaX as well as making an appearance in Twice's debut song "Ooh Ah." From there after the show was done and Felix and Lee Know had been let go, JYP gave Chris premission to decide who should be in the group. And Chris brought back both Felix and Lee Know.
JYP thought he got another Got7. Easily moved or told what to do. We know that JYP was a little scared of Got7. But Stray Kids, he is out right terrified of them. Stray Kids has the run of the JYP building.
Where Got7 had to preform the songs that JYP told them to do. Stray Kids can do whatever they chose or write themselves. Which is why I believe that Got 7 had had enuf. Which is also why they left the company but not each other. And please understand I'm not saying it was Stray Kids. On the contrary. This is all on JYP and his greedyness.

Btw Stray Kids Produce everything is something JYP didn't really believe them because they are the first gp that make JYP even scared of them and let them did what they want because he can't even control how much talented 3Racha and Stray Kids was and even ask them it is okay for them to use JYP song and worry Stray Kids will reject JYP work. ✔️

The difference between Got7 and Stray Kids is Stray kids sends a tons of track to the company and only use the one that got approved
big four? if you are talking about labels, then sorry but big hit is not part of the big three- yeah, they have the biggest kpop band in the world, but big hit doesn't have the impact that sm, yg, and jyp made in these three past generations, you know? just, it's still the big three
