This is a good scene. A wise blacksmith magically appearing before Ruby, seeing the great burden she carries and giving her advice and a choice. And the reflection on the axe Ruby sees, is it her mother or Ruby herself of what she will become? And the axe itself, if it really belonged to her mother, will Ruby take it? Or will she retrieve her Crescent Rose? Who can truly say.
the creepiest part about this scene is the fact that the 'vision' or whatever starts way earlier than you think it does - the tents with the leave symbol start appearing first, THEN the Afterans start disappearing, the music peters out and everything starts going dark. but the tents are the most conspicuous part about it because it's not until Ruby's out of there that you see that the tents weren't there either - Ruby's perception is being messed with before the tone shift
I don't know why but I have a feeling that the forge was the one calling to Ruby and not the weapons or the Smith because you can see that when she heard the klanging of the hammer she almost immediately focused on that sound and followed it but I'm sure I'm wrong
summers weapon is an axe and a.....hunting rifle? i guess she the woodsman to rubys little red riding hood.
The reflection scene was really noice. The weapon is probably Summer's and Ruby could pick it up with her next to Crescent Rose

That moment when you realize Summer's weapon is more practical than Port's... but not by much
Either she picks the axe or finds her scythe. Or...and hear me out, the show pulls a bleach moment and she uses both
Imagine the balls of the show if they get rid of crescent rose now for a axe. Imagine
It makes sense now, the wings here the blacksmith are crafting are the wings that the herbalist has in the latest episode!!!
Insert “WHERES THE BLACKSMITH” Markiplier meme here
Why is she welding a butterfly wing?

Herbalist: Confronts Ruby with her past naivete; interrupted by the Cat
Oh sweet ruby " YOU'RE NOT FINE" please someone help or hug this poor girl.
Calling it now the blacksmith is the spirit of the tree and she was reforging herb while talking to Ruby

That axe may have been Summer's weapon. And if it was... that means Summer may have been in the Ever After. Maybe she still is!
Can I just say I already love the blacksmith? I hope we see more of her, and I hope that she helps ruby more.

Knowing that jaune has been here for years and is still using his broken sword he better encounter this blacksmith soon and give him some new gear
Finally that scene where we see pennys face on the sword.
that Axe is CLEARLY a remnant weapon and that person could have been Summer
