I'm always listening to the Di Gi Charat Communications soundtracks while working. I wasn't aware of the mahjong game, so that was some fun new information to learn, even if mahjong games aren't really anything exciting lol. Kinda hilarious that relatively uninteresting mahjong games is a bit of an anime game trope. At least Azumanga Daioh mixed things up by having a Donjyara game instead (a simplified mahjong variant). Glad that you enjoyed these games! Di Gi Charat is one of my favorite anime series! I actually learned about it while making my translated playthrough of Lucky Star: Moe Drill, as the Di Gi Charat characters make several cameo appearances in that game and I've been hooked ever since. I've yet to explore the games in much detail, but Di Gi Charat Fantasy is definitely on my to-play list as I said in my comment on the last video. Glad to know you had a positive impression of it. I'm always a big fan of media that takes franchises and does something ambitious and unique with them. It's one of the ways that a licensed anime game can really go beyond simply just being a cheap cash-in and become something truly special. That sort of ambition is a huge reason why I love the Lucky Star games so much, Ryouou Gakuen Outousai in particular. Anyway, this has been a great year of the EricDoesEverything series! I can't wait for what's next in store for this series! Episode 50 is coming soon! No pressure, but I remember you saying you had special plans for the 50th episode? Either way, Merry Christmas, Eric and adorable mascot, Timmy the Taco, and here's to a great 2023!
I appreciate you taking the time to write a long comment! That being said, I feel like we are the same person sometimes 😂. I personally really fell in love with the Di Gi Charat Communications soundtrack as well and listened to it a lot while doing chores around the house, and the fact you are a fan of media that takes franchises and does something ambitious and unique with them as well honestly makes me pretty happy! Seeing franchises doing weird and unique stuff for me to make jokes about them and entertain the audience with them is definitely one of the highlights of making these videos, and I'm glad there are people who think the same. I believe that there could be a loving and dedicated audience to licensed anime games, and I'm extremely happy to be able to participate in spreading the word about these projects as well as telling people about the amazing projects in this community like your fan translations! It genuinely makes me happy to promote these projects and to see people working hard on their hobbies. That being said, as you did mention, yep, the 50th episode is coming up very soon. There will be more information about it in my yearly out-of-script video coming out on January 1st, but I'm working hard composing music, making the script, etc for it! I really don't wanna spoil too much though, but let's just say me wearing a Sailor girl outfit is involved... I appreciate it all. the hard work you are doing, and hey, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well! I have a great feeling 2023 is going to be great for us! (PS. planning on doing a video about the Azumanga Daioh games this year, so hopefully, you'll enjoy that!)
glad to know I'm not the only person who finds the whole "bought item stays on the shelf until it's completely gone" thing in digicommunication annoying, lol (and in case you're wondering, yes, I have played both of the GBA games as well, and I love them!)
Hey Eric would be interested in looking at the MÄR: Märchen Awakens Romance games that be cool to see there are actually only 4 games unless there's another one that no one knows about
Hey there! I've been looking for games from more obscure anime series to cover, and this seems to fit what I'm looking for quite well! I have a ton of ideas on games I would like to cover first, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is a game series I take a look at in 2023. I'll add it it the list, thanks!
This was a rlly cool video! There is actually another Di Gi charat game for IOS, called Di Gi Charat Puzzle. It’s just a really simple sliding puzzle game, but I think it’s only available in Japan.
I appreciate the kind comment! I personally don't cover mobile games on this channel, but I should at least mention the mobile games going forward. That being said, if you like more weird and wacky anime games like this, feel free to stick around 😁👍
I never heard of this series. It’s pretty interesting to know it does have some games. I hope your Christmas went pretty well and you got the stuff you wanted! Also let’s hope 2023 goes better lol.
Yep, I'm fully aware as this series goes on the games are going to get more and more obscure. That being said, next year is going to cover games from some iconic anime series like Bakugan, Hunter x Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin, etc... as well as some more obscure, but still beloved ones like Eyeshield 21, Kinnikuman, PoPoLoCrois, etc... Thanks for watching despite never hearing of the series though! I appreciate it a ton, and Merry Christmas to you as well!
@EricDoesEverythingSeries it’s awesome to hear you’ll touch upon more obscure games alongside recognizable games. I can’t wait to see other games that I’ve not heard of or have much knowledge about. Despite of the obscure series, the games seem pretty impressive although, I don’t have the money for each of them lol. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas this year as well.
Thanks! For the yearly update video I do every year on the first day of January, I do plan on sharing a list of potential series I'm covering this year, so I totally recommend checking it out when the time comes!

Oh!!
i searched this video.
I've listened to tempo editing and your way of speaking!!!!😂😂
I respect it as the digicharat fan of the same Japanese✨✨✨
Okay but you ROCK the maid outfit in the thumbnail
Awwww, thank you! Lots of love and care went into posing for that thumbnail 😂
You are like an anime hidden gem games hunter
Between that and my ladies man title, I should like a pretty cool guy 😎
Wake up babe he’s back
😎😎😎

Glad to see another person who has played these games, we are quite a rare bunch 😂

Not familiar with this series but i enjoyed this review lol great video Eric!
As I run out of series to talk about, I'm expecting to get more and more comments like this 😂. Thanks for the support like always!
Same honestly! I might try some of them one day thanks to your review though. I like how the gba games look maybe I'll start with those!

As a one off side episode or something, you should make a video dedicated to anime rom hacks. Covering various systems I don't know
I appreciate the idea! Thanks!
