So Beautiful! I’m in California right now but have a home with my husband in Gambia! I work here in the state for 20+ years with the disabled and this is also my passion to help the elderly and disabled. Wow so excited for this development! I would love to be involved in some way! As an African I commend you as these services are greatly needed .Unfortunately at 8000 delasi a month this is only for the children of the wealthy in Gambia ! Here in the US these services are covered by Medicaid and therefore accessible to all! The disabled children of the poor are condemned to begging on the streets as we see all over Africa unfortunately ! Hopefully one day African countries will develop enough to provide social services !
100% services like this are also free to everyone in the UK well schools are paid for by the tax payer but still free at use. We reduced our fees from. 10,000 to 8000 to try and charge the bare minimum based on the new capacity we can have. We do have a system or something in place for families who 100% cannot afford the fees but we don’t make it public. That service is dependent on people like yourself who live in the US and understand how needed and important this service is for all who need it and step forward to offer full or part sponsorships for a place. We pray that with sponsorship we can have many more opportunities for children who wouldn’t normally have access to this service and even have a transport service for them as well. If you’re interested please do email me.
As a Gambian myself and a special dissability teacher in Stockholm Sweden...wow I am so so glad to see you people giving these wonderful kids a hand..keep it up ❤❤❤
Absolutely lovely..as third World countries, even in the Caribbean small island where I’m from. They don’t cater to children with disabilities. They are shunned upon and locked away so this is beautiful to have this. Well done to you and the sister
@@dublin2111 it’s exactly the same here so so sad to hear some of the stories of the treatment not only the child but the parent gets also. @@zandelalifeBizGambia Thank you very much. So when Gambian wear a ring, It's only for fashion? How do you tell if someone is married? In my country, if you are married, wear a ring on left ring finger. I wondered if Islams wear a ring on left.
