Just picked up the same thing also for $15 today! Needs a recoil starter assembly and a new carb. In case it’s helpful to anyone else, I left the bracket above carb in place and removed the muffler. Then the carb was easy to remove.
I don't think they made one for this model. I have seen people purchase the aftermarket "beaver blade" and use them on the DR version of this type string trimmer. Maybe that might be an option for you.
The price was right.

I had the same unit with a blown governor gear. Easy fix. Love them Tecumseh engines!

Its been a while but if I remember correctly a slight twist and the plastic housing unlocks and pull off.
