Silver Investing 2024 - Why You NEED to Be Buying Silver
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 28 ก.ย. 2024
- In this video I talk about silver investing in 2024 and Why I think it is a good idea to be buying silver. I talk about why I will be buying silver in 2024 and some of the reasons that we might see higher silver prices in 2024 and beyond. I have been silver stacking for many years and I see 2024 as a silver accumulation year, but also a year for potential higher prices as well. The FED is talking about rate cuts which could be huge for silver price. In this video I talk about investing in silver in 2024 specifically. if it is a good idea to invest in silver in 2024 or not will be determined by the strength of the dollar. I use the term investing in silver 2024 rather than silver stacking 2024 because I look at the possibilities of a massive jump in the spot price. if you are investing in silver bars or investing in silver coins then you should be keeping a sharp eye on the spot price and be on the lookout for any major changes up or down in 2024. This is not an investing in silver for beginners video but is rather targeted at the casual silver stacker, or someone who has contemplated buying silver in 2024. I will continue to invest in silver and stack as much as I can for years to come. I hope this silver investing 2024 video can help you decide weather or not silver is a good investment for you or not!

Ive been holding silver since it was $18-20 an ounce. Was going to sell at $30 but I think it will go much higher in a year. Patience is key. 😎👍
Sell whenever you need money. No need to sell if you don't need to spend anytime soon.
Except if you notice an instant peak that would last a day or two, then try to sell lol.
But mostly, keep it.
I'm holding all of mine until I'm ready to retire. I'm almost certain that the price of silver and gold will be much higher 25 years from now. I'm strapped in and ready to ride the ups and downs until then. No reason to try and sell when it goes up a little here and there unless an emergency of some sort pops up and I need the cash before then.
@Commin_Cents Just a little question we've been asking me a lot, how are you going to sell everything if an emergency comes? Would you be able to do it at a good price in a day?
Not to answer for Commin_Cents , but it is fairly easy to cash out your silver and gold without losing your shorts. Of course a lot of it depends on the market and what spot price is. I've got three LCR's (local coin retailers) close to me. I call them and ask what they are paying. Right now the best I found is three dollars over spot on American silver eagles, spot price on most of my 1 ounce silver rounds, and a dollar back of spot on my 10 ounce silver bars. I carry in my silver and I walk out with cash or a check. Pretty simple.
@SilverRhino. Why buying silver eagles with high premium when you can get some other bullions on spot?
I just started stacking silver and the amount of information I have gotten from watching your videos is awesome 👍
Silver dragons is a pretty good source of information! Dub C coins and precious metals on TH-cam is another good source as well. 2is1 is great if you want to dip your toes into gold.
Gold is a very good investment and I prefer it to silver.
Just wanted to give you more information for more research since you are starting out.

Silver dragons is a good source of information. So is DubC numismatics and 2is1 along with spegtagular.
Best addiction ever... I'm still accumulating silver regularly. Never could have managed such a savings account any other way.
Me either. I probably would be buying valuable assets of some kind but I prefer silver after other basics are taken care of
Same here! Both statements true for me. It’s a definite addiction and was never able to save anything before starting to stack.
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
There are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy situation, but such execution is usually carried out by an investment specialist
My financial advisor has been a game-changer, providing clarity and boosting my confidence in navigating finance. With their help, I've achieved my goals faster than I imagined. Highly recommend!
Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service? Seems you've figured it all out.

Precious metals are not an investment. They are a form of wealth storage.
That might change
Say it again for those who weren’t paying attention
Exactly. To be specific, they are a long term preservation of wealth, with somewhat of a hedge against inflation.
That's the goal of investment, to maintain (and hopefully gain) purchasing power.
@@hydraxc2478 Except gold is down 2% a year every year on average since it's ATH in real dollar terms in 1981. That's bad.
I bought a quarter ounce gold Britannia, 10 silver 1 ounce Buffaloes, and 10 dollars face value 90 percent silver half dollars from sd bullion today. I'm going to keep buying gold and silver.
I just sold about half of my silver stack today. Sad to see, in a way, but it's my savings account and I just had to do a withdrawal for something I've been waiting to hop onto! Silver is an awesome savings account.
I don't look at silver as an investment. I look at it as insurance. Cool display!!

@@bradleyjordan5365 And yet not wrong
Definitely a savings account...pure and simple
Because it’s not an investment 😊
I just bought 5 ounces last week. Enjoy doing it yes it is addicting
bought 4 1 oz englehard bars 2 1 oz liberty bars and 1 10 oz apmex in last 2 days 😅
Buy what you can, and just sit on it. 😌
Not an investment, hopefully my stack will go up in value over time but I specifically stack to hedge against inflation, and boy are we in for it with hyperinflation/ stagflation starting to linger. Stack baby stack!
Not an investment??? Just like buying stocks. Hopefully your purchase goes up over time
If your putting your money somewhere hoping to do more with it than under your pillow
Pretty sure that's an investment
Silver has nearly doubled since 2016, yet usd has lost maybe 25% of its value since then at the most. It is an investment now, it wasn’t 20 years ago
@@UserhfdryjjgddfSilver is too volatile to always be an investment. I bought half my stack at 18.50 an oz. If I sold right now, sure I made a little money. But I couldn't count on that. If you don't stack thinking of the long term, you may end up disappointed when there is no profit after weeks or months of waiting for a crazy increase in cost.
@@biglou7733 Yes but there are also long periods where it doesn't even keep up with inflation.
@@hydraxc2478 Thinking long term is how people with no stop loss think about their -90% crypto accounts. It's not going to make up for bad risk management and money management.
It is addicting, and silver is beautiful
Thx so much for your work and info. Eversince you introduced us to Abby Joseph Cohen Services, I now watch all of your content cus I believe I can succeed following your advice and wisdom.
My main Affirmation and major plan for walking away from my 9 to 5 job is my 30000 USD weekly returns from my investment with Abby. Forever grateful to you
I went from no money to lnvest with to busting my A** off on Uber eats for four months to raise about $20k to start trading with Abby Joseph Cohen. I am at $128k right now and LOVING that you have to bring this up here
@ellaaysun6181
How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking?
@ryancihet555
Well her name is 'ABBY JOSEPH COHEN SERVICES'. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Been debt free for two years thanks to Abby Joseph Cohen Services. So sad to see my friends in their 40s with car loans, mortgages and credit card debt.
Abby Joseph Cohen hooked me up with a late-stage fund that got me in on private shares of some hot companies before they hit the market or blew up. Those investments totally paid off when the companies went public and their stocks shot up. Now, I'm stoked because I'm heading into retirement with almost a million bucks in my portfolio.
Just got my first order of silver in today, im excited to start stacking, glad i have you on here to help me stay informed.
Congratulations!!
Stacking has been a tremendous savings over the 6 years I've been doing it. Great hobby and wealth preservation. Nice content as always silver dragons. Always look forward to watching your videos.
Purchase it every week. Sometimes multiple times. Very addicting and when the music stops I’d rather be holding silver than fiat.
Always great videos from SilverDragons teaching and sharing important knowledge on Silver
When my wife (foreign born) learned that in the US she could buy silver and gold, she started "stacking" before learning what stacking meant! Wasn't long before she got me hooked too! I explained Scrooge McDuck to her and now she wants to fill a swimming pool with silver coins, and dive in!
I tried putting all of my silver in a pool and dove in. It's not like Scrooge portrayed. You cannot, in fact, dive or swim in it. In fact, I've found that it hurts.
@@dicky7600 I want to see your pool!

Saint George slaying the Dragon 2oz proof is very shiny! Love it
This seems like the worst period. Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high, today I am more than 60% down!..
Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to kiana rachel
I agree just reached my goal of $500k monthly trade earnings. Setting realistic goals is an essential part of trading.
How can someone know a professional broker when legit once are hard to find this days
She's recognized as 'Mrs Kiana rachel . One of the finest portfolio managers in the field. She's widely recognized; you should take a look at her work.
I agree. Based on personal experience working with an investment advisor, I currently have $1m in a well diversified portfolio, that has experienced exponential growth. It is not about having money to invest in stocks, but also you need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to back it up.
Like any investment, think LONG term. Think in years, decades.
There is a reason short term capital gains tax is so high, its because of how WILDLY PROFITABLE short term trading is.
I love causally collecting silver especially things I like, but when I sell some of it I never really gain anything, so I think that's an important thing to note.
Saudi Arabia has already stopped using the dollar as of last week.
Not true. They're just accepting other nations currency for oil. They still use and accept the dollar.

I Just Keep Slowly Chipping Away at Silver!
Great Video SD!
Keep on Stacking!
Addicting to buy could be an understatement, my lcs is my favorite place to visit rn 😁
Lost all ASEs, 57 of them.
But now I have a running vehicle, good on gas, working AC, and low miles
I’ve been itching to buy some gold for awhile now, but I just can’t justify it, given the gold/silver ratio being so heavily weighted towards silver.
gold isn't going to get cheaper, but silver is a better buy with up side potential.
@@MrThespian4Agreed!
Great video, EXTREMELY informative!!!! Thanks!!!
I love you showed the USS Constitution rounds in your display & your purchase. I bought 6 of those this week after seeing them on Stackers Social. I saw them recommended by a stacker in the UK of all places!
So of course I ordered a few of Ebay! Crazy I got 6 and 1 was bad! Sigma test everything baby!
Im trying the best I can to stack often. I’m stacking for the long term investment. I recently bought 17 tubes of silver eagles and - darn it - I want to keep it up, but I can’t sustain that kind of investing. That was about $10K - happily spent - to start me off. I need a side hustle to keep it going because my wife is still skeptical and doesn’t like what she sees as “risk”. I see “risk” as NOT stacking.
I sold some silver awhile back. My LCS gave me spot price for everything, Eagles included. I won't be buying them again in the future. Generic and 90% only for me going forwards.
@@DanCooper404 If in 15 years they’ll still be accepting generic silver (and why wouldn’t they be?) and you continue stacking, you’ll get more weight with rounds for sure. Usually though, LCS pay a bit behind spot, or at spot, for generic silver. As for eagles, LCS’s usually pay a bit above spot for eagles, so that’s a plus. But the big thing for me, is when you cash in the eagles, (or 90%) no matter how many thousands of dollars worth, you don’t pay any capital gains taxes. You do with generic silver if you cash in over $1000.00. Also with eagles, you have to stay in the game long enough for spot price to exceed the premiums you’ve paid to break even. That could take a while. So eagles are a long game investment. Between 1994 and 2009, (15 years) silver price rose 277%. Between 2009 and 2024 (15years) silver price rose 202%. Thats enough to wipe out any premiums paid for any type of silver. You wont feel a thing.
Wow! The way the maples radiate.
Those USS Constitution pieces are so awesome. I keep mine with an American flag that was flown on her. 🇺🇸
I bought 10 Germania mint 1 oz cast bars last week, they are super shiny when you remove the plastic wrap and feel chunky for such a tiny bar. I also buy silver for a fun savings account. The rise and fall are a moving target to pull the trigger on a good price.
Thanks SD.
Where did you get them ? if you don't mind me asking...I'm into top tier mints bars also ,TY
JM bullion on sale right now
Silver = No Risk. Got it!
I second the idea of “ SHINY”!
Love the cowboy rounds
Since January 11th I've managed to stack an additional 261 oz's of silver and 1/2 of gold to add to my stack...my last order was on June 14th...so I am still buying the dips and still stacking...smiles
Im 52 and just started I bought my first 20oz and going to buy a little every week
Collecting coins and building sets since 1965, now its time too stack Jack!
I bet we dont get a rate cut this year
nope, the rumor is hyper-inflation, as in, think food and goods cost a lot now? ain't seen nuthin' yet!
How do you view precious metals IRA's. I see risk there in not holding them myself.
Yet more good info. Yes, it is very addictive, cause there are so many different types to pick from. Thanks again for the info.
That long beach expo was awesome cant wait for September
Just bought silver for the first time, 50 silver dimes, not much but definitely gonna start buying on a bi weekly basis
You have to start somewhere well done just watch that stack grow over the coming months and years its addictive 😊
@royharris7135 yea it's definitely addictive. I have bought more since the post. And I will continue to do so.
Spoke to an honest silver dealer today. Bought for about $33.00 said he'd pay me 29.00 if I brought it back tomorrow. Roughly of course. Not bad I had heard you'd only get back about 40% usually. That's the place I'll deal with.
Thanks. Still about 3/4ths of the comments here show people looking for that appreciation, like silver is a blue chip stock ( think I.B.M. or Proctor & Gamble or Standard Oil shares in the 70's) or 80's-90's realestate/apartment complexes. Silver does not generally function that way. Do your due diligence folks. It can help preserve wealth but growth in silver is not linear, has a history of percipitous 'ups and downs', and has not even really kept pace with inflation. What it does have going for it is that it will likely always be worth something, and will therefore be useful no matter if it appreciates or is somewhat devalued from its current trade-able value.
It is a great metal to buy and it is fun to hold in your hand it feels so solid it makes you want more
I’m not a metals investor and you can always buy silver with gold. Therefore gold is superior in my opinion.
Absolutely agree with you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊😊😊
Thank you for all of your input on this
Does it worry people that the reality of selling silver quickly is very limited to your LCS and the chance they either do not buy back or put limits on what theyll buy... Imagine 20 people in a single day that want to sell 100oz/ea, it just seems the real use is bartering and itd take a long time to swap to fiat or other currency if needed
That constitution quote on that coin tells you all you need to know
Silver is NOT an inflation hedge!
Adjusted for inflation, silver should be north of $50 oz now.😎
I love silver great fundamentals and great opportunity but also a good way to protect your savings and hedge against inflation. Plus there are some really cool coins and rounds that are just fun to collect
I use my silver stacking as a savings account..nothing else..
I have managed to save £600 in 2 weeks..no way I could do that by saving cash
I think since we just lost our saudi petrol deal its never been a better time to invest also with us weaponizing our dollor other countrys are starting to distance from us great video bro
Gold and silver are real money, the base of all fiat, and is insurance. It’s not really an investment … it acts more as a wealth storage and as the dollar or other fiat currency inflates you reap the reward of a higher dollar cost for it than what you paid for it in fiat.
Silver is not just money but has massive industrial usage and we are short on silver on a global scale.
I also agree with you on the silver to gold ratio.
Great video silver dragons keep on stacking
Disagree on gold vs silver, especially for long term wealth. Definitely agree on holding your own physical precious metals. Natural disasters can also be a threat to your stack - tornado, hurricane, fire, flood and etc.
Gold buys silver. The opposite is not always possible.
Silver is the next Rhodium!
@@hauntedhillbilly3569 hope not, Rhodium was at nearly $30k in March of 2021, today is at about $5k.😎
You are so right on silver. I can never save money. But silver I have to sell it and I don't have no one unless I go down and see Harry. And by the way I personally don't buy u.s. mint I want to be able to melt it. Main goal is something to hand down to my grandchild. But if needed I have something .
Although I do like the metals over the dollar. I like Bitcoin over the metals. No counter party risk, fixed supply, and easier to transport than Lbs of metals, and a hedge against inflation. I have both but either way if you’re staking any of these you’ll be better off than holding fiat. Metals are shiny though so there’s that .

Great Video
Stack Strong 💪🏼
There is a very important Supreme Court Case which I have not seen discussed anywhere:
Moore v. U.S., No. 22-800 [Arg: 12.5.2023]
Issue(s): Whether the 16th Amendment authorizes Congress to tax unrealized sums without apportionment among the states.
Taxing unrealized gains, if it is allowed will be a disaster for the country, which will result in the utter destruction of the middle class. (Imagine a 20% tax on the increased value of the assessment of your house. The tax collector says its gone up $100,000 in value, so you owe $20,000 in federal taxes. Of course if the value goes down next year, you don't get any of those unrealized losses subtracted from your bill. )
Unrealized gains taxes would have a huge effect on stackers, as you could owe taxes every time the spot went up - with no rebate when it went down, its a one way ratchet.
Thank you for the video.
10 ounce silver bars are great paper weights.
I particularly like the 10 ounce Scottsdale bars.
If you need more weight to hold down your important papers, more 10 ounce bars stack snugly on top of each other.
🤗
You have to be really careful with rounds, including the vintage ones. Fakes are getting more common. Same with bars.
The other risk is if the gov passes a law that bans ownership of precious metals. 😢. Nevertheless, going to keep on stacking!🎉
Man Silver you are right on!!
How do you carry 145 pounds of precious metals and your go-bag?
Silver Dragon, i don't believe one bit that the fed will be cutting or lowering rates... second, i just don't believe what the fed says.. never have and never will... third, unless you have atleast 500oz of silver, its not worth it... this is only my opinion... i just can't see the price of Ag ever going to $50... i also can't see the price of Ag going below $25 either...
Can you talk about regular coin collecting. Is it worth it?
Love your channel already :)

I’m trying to buy from a silver coin store but the closest I have is like an hour, but I really want to get me some silver rounds.
Always good info
😊thanks for sharing 😊 take care😊
Buy every chance I get. Filling up tubes as I go. Dragon, do you stack all of your eagles in one tube, or do you mix them with other silver coins?
I have 95 ounces of silver. Why? I really don't know. Spot price today 8-8-24 is $27.40. That means it has gone up about $19 in 42 years! Spot price in 1982 varied from $6 to $11. I should have invested in gold only. At this rate silver may hit $40 in a hundred years! What's the point, honestly?
Great info!
Still collecting cans for silver cans r only worth about .022 cents tho I save them up for earth day to get more
I think silver prices can still move up even if the USD is strong due to the green energy mandate, with silver being increasingly used in the solar energy systems and electric vehicles manufacturing.
Good Video. THE SARGE
I never look at my silver as an “investment.” Savings, for me. The rest of my portfolio is an investment.
Do you keep your silver coins and rounds in air tight cases?
Yes or the original tubes in a dry storage .
You don't always have to trade it for cash you got it to trade with to barter with
Good stuff 🐉🐲🎉🎉
