Based off what we’ve seen so far in the anime I think my placement was very fair. I hear there might be things in the manga that change that, but my updated list will go over that.

Most of Toji's best stats come from statements of scaling to *SPOILERS* from the manga, so uh
@@davidb1892 you forget he beat Gojo and Geto who were equals at the time, were extremely close to special grade as Geto progessed to special grade 1 year after (Gojo likely would've followed, too)
He beat them both, and without much trouble. The whole sleep arguement is hardly relevant either because Toji's whole plan was to sneak attack and kill Gojo as soon as he removed infinity, but as we see, he didn't and then had to fight Gojo with his own IQ and power, different from his plan

I agree with most of the tier list. To be honest the only contentious one is Toji, but that is due to his unique circumstances making him a very situational combatant who can really struggle against certain characters, but demolish others, even if they are relative overall.
Yeah he was one of, if not the hardest person to place.

I discovered your channel recently and I'm really enjoying the tier lists, but I was hoping to see one about a series I know well, like JJk. Then you finally released this one and, bro, you did great. Seriously, I follow JJk on a weekly basis, I consume a lot of related content and I've seen a lot of bizarre things out there... but you were accurate and impartial, considering only the anime information. Excellent work, keep it up!

Great list apart from Toji’s placement.. All the disasters are relative to each other, Jogo being stronger than Dagon is true but not by a Massive margin. & The fact Toji absolutely Bullied Dagon Low-Diff, signifies he wouldn’t have much trouble with the others. Especially being able to literally One Tap Jogo with the Soul Splitter.. Toji beats Jogo Mid-High Diff
Nanami states jogo is another level then dagon, though I agree toji wins without much difficulty
If he is anime only he doesnt know that a domain cant target toji, so it s a good placement
Like @stack4229 said Jogo is stated to be an another level. imo that sounds like a decent size gap. Just look at how much Mahito improved over the series. Dagon just evolved, he was likely closer to beginning of series Mahito than Jogo.

Toji is significantly faster than Pre-Awakened Gojo, Stnregth comparable to and above Current Manga Yuji ( Won't spoil exact details for you, but it's insane ), Enough Durabiility to just shrug off a Point Blank Blue without any harm
@@Keetsoona Dagon said Naobito was faster, not Toji. And while sure hit won’t work on Toji, it would work on others, which is why I said Jogo and Mahito may be a worse opponent to others. Especially Mahito, his domain can one shot almost anyone.
I scale characters in a very similar way, but I would divide the First Grade tier in two parts. There's no way people like Choso, who defeated Itadori while nerfed is in the same tier as his brothers Eso and Kechizu or the Finger Bearers. Also, Naobito was clearly stronger than Nanami, as you implied. I would create a tier in between in which I would put base Hanami, base Dagon, no domain Mahito, Naobito, Choso, Muta and some characters from next parts of the manga as Naoya
I thought about that, but it was hard to decide where I should make the split between the tiers. So the grade 1 tier is just for all the characters that fall into the category of “grade 1 sorcerer level” but that’s a huge strength tier, so the top of it stomps the bottom.
From what i've seen, fans tend to call this the "grade 0" tier

I don't think people downplay that he isnt strong, they just say he's the least strongest special grade threat, which they're right tbf

just something that is slightly bothering me - black flash increases power by the power of 2.5, not times 2.5
YES: 3^2.5
= 3x3x1.5
=9x1.5
=13.5
NO: 3x2.5
=7.5
Yeah I realized that after the fact. I got it wrong because the English dub actually says 2.5x the power. But I have to say, I don’t like how Gege made it a power. That means the stronger someone is, the more black flash amps them, which seems weird. Gege himself even admitted it doesn’t make sense when you think about it.

Not gonna lie I don't like how much the anime exaggerated on. Sukuna is one of my favorite characters but that Mahoraga fight was so much filler (although awesome 💯) I feel it distorted the true strength of the characters. Toji throwing a truck was wild😭. Definitely wanna see a manga tier version 💯

@@kappalappa7376 I dont think he's stronger than 15 fingers Sukuna, the 4 special grade sorcerers(or atleast 3, JJK 0 Geto is debatable) and anyone that scales to them. So putting him at top 4 is ridiculous.
@@cnobu8160 yuki and yuta both lose to toji, a 15f sukuna perception blitzed kenjaku, this same kenjaku 1v3'd yuki, so toji is massively faster, and yuta is literally just slower as 15f sukuna blitzed ryu, the same ryu who was keeping up with yuta. Also maki who is equal to toji was reacting and sparring to 15f sukuna when his speed was just fine

- Shinjuku Yuta kept up with 19f + Megumi + True Form Sukuna, who should definitely be faster than himself at 15f. Not even mentioning Yuji thought he could have beaten 15f Sukuna in Shibuya.
- Culling Games Maki who is strictly equal with Toji as stated had to jump 15f Megumi Sukuna with Yuji and still lost. She also fought 19f + Megumi + True Form Sukuna in the latest chapter so the 1 month training definitely made her stronger than Toji.
- So anyone that scales to 15f and 19f Megumi Sukuna in speed which includes Yorozu, Mahoraga, Shinjuku Showdown Yuta and Maki, arguably Kashimo, Hakari and Shinjuku Yuji should be faster than Toji. I'll reread the Kenjaku fight before counting him and Yuki in.

21:58 this is a very common misconception, black flash isn’t a 2.5 times multiplier. It’s to the power of 2.5, so for example is an attack did 100 damage, a black flash would do 100,000 damage

Nice list I would just put toji in top of mid special grade but since it's just based of on anime it's fine also yuta in current manga would be in peak special grade.

When Ogami's son got Toji's body, Toji quickly took over. Ogami stated she didn't summon the information of the soul so this wouldn't happen and Toji said his body is different. That's why idk if Mahito could actually use idle transfiguration on Toji

Those are lists I am considering! I do want to play the Batman games. If I get around to it I'll probably make a list.

Origins, Asylum, City, and Knight are AWESOME games!...and then there is suicide squad: kills the justice league, which I suggest making a separate list entirely from the main 4 Arkham games, because the power scaling is straight fubernucked in this game. Though some of them have some DLC story stuff, so if you want the full "canon" experience you will have to sink a bit more money into more than just the base games, though the dlcs are awesome in my opinion. I have also been quite into RWBY for a while now, though the quality has dipped since the first few seasons, called volumes in the show, I still find myself enjoying them. There are also some canon novels and games for RWBY, all of the dc crossover stuff is uncanon as I've seen mostly.

For Mahito vs Jogo, Jogo can't harm Mahito's soul, so any damage done is only surface level.
That’s another argument that could be made. Is it ever made clear what attacks can and can’t hurt the soul? I also assume if Mahito’s body is completely turned to ash he wouldn’t be able to come back from that.
Nice ranking if this was for manga this is what I would change: (minor spoilers):
Top tier: Sukuna and Gojo
Tier 2: Yuta (DE should be able to pretty safely beat 15F sukuna because if he drops hollow wicker basket (he only has 2 hands at that point) angel's technique just one shots him)
Tier 3: 15F Sukuna (Didn't seem too troubled with mahoraga and even thought he had a chance with less fingers)
Tier 4: Mahoraga, Kashimo, Kenjaku (DE + Maximum Uzumaki has a shot against mahoraga)
Tier 5: Geto, Yuki
Tier 6: Maki, Toji, Hakari
Rest is more or less the same as the video
15f sukuna has a domain of his own amd can break yuta s barrier, the reason manga sukuna cant use domain is bc he has brain damage tho if 15f shibuya sukuna fought current yuta he could use malevolent shrine

Do people realize that Toji was only doing so well against dagon because he took the special grade tool from maki and megumi was affecting his domain. He would probably still win but that doesn’t make him jogo level or higher
Toji is objectively stronger than jogo lol. Also technically speaking he used his own curse tool since that tool he took from maki was his to begin with. Not to mention even if megumi wasn’t there the same outcome would happen since no domains sure hit works on toji with the exception of sukuna’s
Very solid list, I can definetly see where you're coming from for all of the rankings. One thing I disagree with is Todo being behind Kusakabe and Mei Mei. I just think they haven't shown anything that Todo couldn't do aswell. Mei Mei also apperantly can't use simple domain but Todo can.
I was thinking about putting Todo higher, but his simple domain barely worked since he still lost his hand.

@@weeaboo-warrior the thing that puts Todo above those 2 for me is not only his simple domain, but I think he's also the only one of those 3 that used black flash and I think his cursed technique is just better than anything they've shown. Kusakabe might be more debatable, but Mei Mei's black bird control is just a bad matchup for Boogie Woogie in general imo as it just gives him even more mobility. He might genuinely just swap places and let Mei Mei get hit by her own birdstrike lol.

Well, Nanami was implied to have around the same level of striking strenght as Yuji at the beginning of Shibuya, meaning that his base AP is relative to Yuji's, his Ratio technique allows him to neg durability at some extent and he isn't far weaker than him so his CT should work fine, and Yuji lacks any RCT to recover from damage, so I can see why Nanami's placed above him.
Fr, Maki’s feats in the Manga make Toji far stronger than ANY disaster curses

If anything it should include his CT strikes since that's apart of nanamis fighting style and he almost always uses it when he strikes.

@@farsous10 I think Alive Toji and dead Toji are in two different spots due to that curse and all the weapons. The dead one kinda got lucky against Dagon cause Playful Cloud was there imagine if it wasn’t also imagine if it was a truly 1 on 1 if Dagon takes flight and just spams his can’t miss attack, without Chain of a Thousand Miles idk if or how Toji would get him out of the air, Toji might still be able to to land some punches but they are not going to do as much damage as Playful Cloud. Alive Toji with all his weapons would have beat dagon worse. But also keep in mind again Toji only did so good against goji cause he tired him out and that was a young gojo, gojo been up for days keeping up a barrier if it wasn’t for that goji would have stomped Toji you could argue jogo could have pressed that same gojo. I think he gets more praise then he deserves he is strong but he tends to get hyped up a lil.

When Megumi says stuff like "Toji's speed is comparable to 3F Sukuna", that is him being unreliable and should not be used as definitive powerscaling. Toji is definitely faster than 3F Sukuna, as shown later in the manga when *slight manga spoilers* a certain character equal to Toji keeps up with 15F Sukuna

At best, probably high special grade tier.
In my opinion it is the most accurate ranking for jjk, The only thing I would change would be to put Mahito above Jogo, although I know everyone would disagree.

i disagree with saying since inumaki hit his limit first, hes weaker. its explicitly stated the effectiveness of his curse speed as well as the back lash to his body directly correlates to the strength of the words he used and the strength of his opponent. Kamo and Fushi take the same amount out of them with their attacks no matter how strong the target
yeah, but that's a problem, because stamina is a huge factor in a fight. especially if someone has to fight multiple opponents. Inumaki has a chance in a 1v1, but in an overall battlefield scenario he would be the weakest.
Where would you rank Pre-RCT Gojo and Awakened Gojo (Toji fight)? Anyways, great list as always :)
Pre RCT would be mid or high special grade. Awakened would be high or peak special grade. It’s hard to pin point those versions of him exactly, especially since he doesn’t have a domain during those points. Awakened should be a tier above Toji at least though.

Black flash is the base attack to the power of 2.5 way way way more powerful than 250% of a attacks power. Ex: attack with 10 power goes up to 500 power if it is a black flash.
yeah that was my bad, the english dub I was listening to said it wrong. however the whole to the power thing is weird because one to the power of 2.5 is still one, and the higher the number the more it would be multiplied. so unless some number describing the power is given to us, it's actually impossible to calculate the power difference.

I don't think we can compare Toji's speed to 3 fingers Sukuna since Megumi wasn't able to see them both, so he has no way of knowing their speed.

Some disagreements here. Though toji vs disasters isnt as obvious as it is in the anime then in the manga, id still say toji should be above them.
Dagon states naobito is probably faster then jogo. Domain dagon then blitzes perception naobito as he teleports behind him. And we saw how toji did dagon. Naturally with toji, 3f also gets upscaled over jogo and mahito.
Due to ISOH, he can also negate mahitos and jogos techniques, and prevent them from using domain.
In the volume zero novel, getos curse tamamo no mae is actually stated equal to rika. And we know from mahito that disaster curses are the strongest natural curses so they should scale over her. So rika ends up being scaled below the disasters.
Hanami is also implied relative to jogo multiple times. Though one of the scans for that is in a volume extra and not in the anime.
As for mahoraga, sukuna states mahoraga MIGHT have beaten his 3f self if they fought in the finger bearer arc. This would imply they are actually some what close in power. This also naturally upscales tojis speed over jogo once again.
I would also say thay yuji by the end of shibuya is above todo and nanami as he performs way better on a stronger mahito then nanami did. And keeps up with todo while weakened.
Overall decent list.
I don't think Dagon perception blitzed Naobito. He initially tagged him due to blocking his vision with his shikigami, and then got behind him while Naobito was flying back stunned by his punch. That's like saying Naobito blitzed Dagon because he got on top of his head after he flew up away from Toji. If the character isn't able to completely focus on the one blitzing them, I don't think it can be called a blitz.
ISOH can negate techniques but I don't see how it would negate idle transfiguration. What would he do, stab himself with it? If it can prevent domains that isn't something the anime has shown yet.
The volume zero novel saying Tamamo no Mae is equal to Rika is weird since that spirit was blasted away along with the Uzamaki and Geto. Unless it was saying Tamamo no Mae
@@weeaboo-warrior the main issue is that dagon only ends up behind him after naobito has already settled down and is on defense. As he tries to start falling blossom again and is looking in dagons direction, dagon suddenly appears behind him. This to me implies dagon only moved after naobito settled down.
As long as he stabs mahito with it, mahito wouldn't be able to use IT on toji. We know tojis body is weird when it comes to souls with his resurrection too so I doubt it would be that effective. And mahito can't instantly morph those near ( but still weaker then him ) in power. @@stack4229 I see where you are coming from, but it seems weird that Dagon would stand there and wait for Naobito to gather himself. I think it's more likely he was already behind him, or came from some sort of blind spot. Dagon didn't get behind him at all in the manga, and I think the fact it was stated in the anime and manga he got blitzed due to having his vision blocked means it wouldn't happen otherwise. I also know domains amp abilities, but it says that it's due to environmental factors. So Dagon could move faster in the water, but I don't think his base speed stat randomly goes up just because he is in his domain.
I don't know if stabbing Mahito would stop his technique. Gojo's technique is a shield, so the sword goes through the shield because it negates the ability. But saying it would stop an offensive ability that comes out of the hand because the body is stabbed is highly questionable. Gojo actually shot out a blue attack while he was being shanked in the anime.
Even being equal to base Rika seems weird since Geto thought having Rika would make his victory chance go from 20-30% to 99%. Are you sure the statement isn't something along the lines it was an equal rank of special grade?
@@weeaboo-warrior gojo states your physical stats also improve in a domain so I think it ends up being consistent. It's pretty normal for villains to do that in the anime which is why I interpret it that way.
Isoh just forcefully stops any and all techniques, so I believe as long as isoh is in contact with mahito, he shouldn't be able to use his technique.
We only have the raws for it and no official translation, but the non official translations all state specifically that if they fought they would be equal. I always questioned the geto statement anyways because at that time geto didn't even know about the copy ability. You could say the reason geto thinks he would be that strong is because he would be able to channel rikas endless reserves for his own stats and that would be more beneficial than just another special grade curse in his inventory.

i found this vid late but toji definitely goes in high special grade, maki who is = to toji was boxing relative to 15 finger meguna, megumi only drops sukunas use of his shrine technique but not his physicals.

Considering how Maki (who is stated to be equal to Toji) performed far better than Jogo against Sukuna on both of their encounters, I'd say it's safe to say Toji is stronger than both disaster curses

This is not because he has no cursed energy, as Gojo himself states that he was following the curse on Toji's back. Regardless, the six eyes can capture even people with no cursed energy, as kid Gojo could feel Toji behind him. This means that it is unlikely that the disaster curses are faster than him.
Toji also has the inverted spear of heaven as well as the soul blade, which should let him deal with both Mahito and Jogo.
Mahito was comparable to Yuji in speed, and Jogo would have died from the same attacks that Hanami took in the exchange event. Considering Toji is faster than Yuji and stronger than him as well, he should overpower jogo and speed blitz mahito
@@baitreview I definitely think he is faster than them, and might have the equipment to win, but I think overall power level wise and who would be more powerful against other characters and creatures, I think Jogo and Mahito might be above him. Mahito’s ability is just crazy deadly and his domain would one shot almost anyone. He also has greater durability. I’m completely fine with Toji being above them though. I say in the video that tier can really be ordered in any way.

However, Mahito is again, about as fast as Yuji, and got destroyed by only 3 black flashes, something that Hanami easily survived. Someone like Todo just wouldn't have the speed to keep up with Toji the same way he kept up with Mahito.
Jogo doesn't seem to have the firepower to damage Toji, as the ONLY person we see him kill is Naobito, who was HEAVILY beaten and had low durability in general. His meteor was also slow enough for Panda and Kusakabe to dodge even with Sukuna's delay.
Although this isn't in the anime, Toji is also immune to any domain that targets things with cursed energy, and can walk in and out of barriers without being detected or physically restrained.
@@baitreview Mahito definitely surpassed Hanami in durability. The version of Yuji that was fighting Mahito was far stronger, and was at 120% on top of that. Even then Gege confirmed Mahito would have destroyed Yuji if he wasn’t pre injured by the black flash.
Toji cooks everyone in the mid special grade tier. Also, Kenjaku is right below 15 finger Sukuna, and above Mahoraga. (Yuta would also beat Mahoraga, but not if he is only basing his opinion on jjk0 only)

good list but i would really argue toji higher since he has his weapons and the toji that fought megumi was just trolling, so his speed calc of toji is very questionable i think he should be in a tier higher since maki and toji are also implied to be equals and you see that maki could hold herself against sukuna.

@@Him-9050 there are statements suggesting evolved Mahito>Jogo. For everything else, this was an anime only list and I think all the changes you mentioned mainly come from events from the manga, so they weren’t considered. When the anime gets further the list will be updated.

Toji can perceive and damage the soul, his soul is equal to his body. (Geto the body is the soul) with his body alone he can over power the soul of the grandson because “he soul lost to his body” so no Mahito cannot one tap Toji at all
That’s a good point, though it’s hard to say he could defend his soul in the same manner just because of that, though he might have some resistance based off that. But his best feat would be overpowering the soul of a fodder, so he at best gets two tapped like Nanami.

Toji could possibly kill him with bare punches, what makes you think Mahito can damage his soul which is equal to his body Even when you ignore the previously established fact that if your soul isn’t strong enough you’ll love to his body.
We also know know 20 finger Sukuna who can be cut by maki (who is equal to Toji) at 3 fingers had a soul which Mahito said is on a completely different level and gets one tapped by him and does his best to avoid him even in his 0.2 sec domain meaning he knows he can’t hurt sukunas soul. Cursed energy isn’t even equal to soul power, as Mahito flat out said Jogo had more cursed energy than 3 finger Sukuna but Sukuna had a soul of a higher caliber. Ogami’s grandson probably had one of the most fodder souls possible so the scalability of that fear is questionable.
And let’s say Mahito’s power didn’t even work at all. I still think you are giving Toji too much credit saying he can beat Mahito with punches. Mahito’s body is more durable than Choso’s blood armor which could tank hits from Yuji. Yuji is stated to be physically stronger than Maki even without using any spirit energy and even at 120% he couldn’t even scratch evolved Mahito. Idle transfiguration doesn’t work I agree Toji probably wins with his gear, but he honestly might not be able to win a boxing match. He just can’t hurt Mahito with his fists.
The funny part of all this is that no one in JJK has any feat that puts him above city level, even his speed is pretty mediocre

For example, One Piece characters are supposedly light speed but take hours to run across islands... So I don't actually like One Piece characters being FTL. Toji defeated Dagon inside his domain without his arsenal of weapons now imagine if he had his full set of weapons... Also, Toji literally beat Geto and easily too when they fought. There's not enough evidence to prove Geto had surpassed Toji from the movie. A prime Geto literally lost to a kid that hadn't come close to reaching his potential yet. I get it he divided his power to draw Gojo away and Yuta had Rika's help but still that isn't "proof" that he would have beaten them. Potentially maybe, but not proof. I don't see a world where Toji is behind Geto it doesn't feel right considering he literally beat him this was after he already fought Gojo. And a tired and injured Gojo still slaps prime Geto with little effort too something I don't think you're considering here. I would knock Utahime, Nobara, Haruta down a tier to 2nd Grade they're all super weak and are only viable in situational fights. And I don't believe any of those 3 would stand a chance against anyone in the Semi-1st tier ahead of them so I don't believe they belong in that tier. They would lose to the characters beneath them in the previous tiers like Ko Guy in a 1v1 battle would kill them easily. The list is really good though otherwise those are the main gripes I have with it.
