I noticed that after round 2, when automa drew cards, you didn't clear the 3 birds on the tray. Not that it mattered that much, but maybe they could have scored more (or less) points depending on the birds

Is the automa part of the expansion, or in the base game?
Absolutely! I just think the expansion improves the balance a bit.
