In my neck of the woods, a most favourite bread is called pandesal or tinapay. It is usually eaten during breakfast. The street where my univ. dorm was located is peppered with many bread shops and as early as four a.m., people are already waiting in line to buy their preferred no. of pieces of pandesal which will be put inside a small brown onionskin paper bag. The aroma was intoxicating. Years later, I had the chance to go to France for work opportunities. In Paris and Annecy, I lived close to a small boulangerie. The aroma alone made me happy. Those times were heaven for me.

Omg I'm sorry but I just want everybody here to know how much I appreciate the existance of bread. Like, it's literally so delicious, I love it so much. It's so simple yet so yummy. The way bread becomes so soft when you put it in your mouth, some people perfer the crust but that's fine too! Bread can be both of those. You can eat lots of other foods with it. I put my jam in it, pasta in it, butter in it. Bread is so amazing, anyways thanks for reading.
