Just want to say that all these trailer breakdowns and speculations are really bringing me back to 2011, back when we got the first GTA V trailer and we spent hours analyzing every single detail. The last GTA to have an airboat was GTA Vice City Stories which is often forgotten about. Also the reels of social media tags with the hashtag of the main character is going to be wild since everything the main character may do will become an in-game internet phenomenon with the NPCs. One of my favorite breakdowns Ive seen of the trailer. The beach scene really opened my eyes to how detailed this game will be. 17:56 It doesn’t say “pimp.” It says “PMP,” which is the name of the car. It’s a new version of the Schyster PMP 600 from GTA IV, based on the Chrysler 300. The new one appears to be called Schyster PMP 700, according to the badging on the trunk of car.
& PMP meaning pimp has always been the joke with that car, that's what R* intended. So, I don't really see the point in correcting that. It still says pimp. Modern 300's have always been considered pimp mobiles.

If the lyrics of the song they used is anything to go off of, it seems like Lucia might be the driving force in the relationship and that she might be stringing Jason along to some degree. Maybe their relationship starts with Lucia using Jason and then she truly falls in love and drama ensues? I’m really looking forward to seeing their dynamic play out in the story.
The trailer had Jason gullible muscle in this situation but I’m sure he will have more of a purpose in the actual game where they do end up actually loving each other but have to make decisions that could ruin the relationship or cost the others life.
@@karlkarlsson9126bruh Vice City Stories, IV, The Lost And Damned and V all have love stories around their protagonists, not to mention RDR1, RDR2 and Bully, also technically GTA 3 is a breakup story.
Tom Petty was an excellent choice because it just fits with both the glitz and glam Vice City and the Florida man vibes. I think it honestly makes the trailer for me.
If you cross-check the shot of Lucia and Jason in a hotel, and the two in a car, you can notice Jason's facial hair changes between the two shots. Possible to grow a beard like rdr2?
Looking like closer to 2026 which gives Sony time to get out a more powerful PS5. I doubt it'll launch on PC before the following summer, giving everyone plenty of time to save up for the monster graphics card it will surely require. Last thing Rockstar wants is another RDR2 disaster on PC so it might be a long time but it is Rockstar so it wouldn't surprise me.
So far my favorite analysis video, every other channel seems to be looking at some of the bigger picture items, but you point out the tiny things you dont notice usually, the new catamaran boat looks sick, and your the first person ive even seen point it out, same with the moving containers.
I have seen another analysis mentioning the moving container, in which the balloon and its assumed inspiration were mentioned, but this is not to say that this is a lesser analysis. Apart from the paid promotion, what I would have avoided is naming and in a sense promoting that so called dance move of inane banality. At the same time, so called ‘social’ media plaguing this city, in my view, that was an excellent choice of words!
16:13 Yup thats a pretty good parody of the Florida Highway Patrol it would also mark first time in the series that State Police would receive proper treatment as Alderney (New Jersey) State Police and SAHP (CHP) were done dirty as they were left unfinished with ASP even using LCPD marked cruisers as their vehicles 17:12 The White Cruisers are based off Miami-Dade County Police which means this scene takes place in Vice-Dale County
Interesting to see the amount of new (and old) cars in the trailer. I wonder if we'll see another GTA IV > GTA V situation where returning vehicles have super varying deformation compared to new vehicles.
@jellydoggo I don't actually mind it. I think having a lot of the cars be the same game-to-game definitely enhances the immersion I feel in it. I can only hope that they're all up to the same standard of quality.
Considering the year GTA 5 was set in I don't see why this game wouldn't have returning cars, GTA games are all set in the same universe. Would be stupid to not have cars from GTA 5. I doubt anything will vary in deformation everything will be given the same treatment. That's some ghetto shit lesser developers would do. This isn't GTA online where rockstar cuts corners for a quick buck. This is their fucking flagship singleplayer game that's taken over 10 years to come out.
They really only varied on cars added to the online past a certain point, they stopped giving them proper damage models after so many years for whatever reason.
Game looks terrible. Rockstar failed again, this game is going to be just a soulless, empty and downgraded as GTAV and they are going to milk it dry and shove with microtransactions for the next decade. Remember, the old Rockstar is gone, new Rockstar are greedy, lazy and keep screwing us over.
When looking through every single detail of the trailer together with the water physics, the police reaction during the motorcycles scene, the npc ai and the hair physics, no wonder why it took them so many years before they could release a teaser for the game. This is something I never expected Rockstar to do. Remember when GTA 6 got leaked last year and some people literally said "this game looks bad", well look at it now. I can't wait to return to Vice City in 2025.
Those who looked at said videos and concluded what you mentioned did not dedicate their attention properly, as those videos should be acknowledged not least for game mechanics. It is way, way overdue for the police to, one, not kill someone because they pass by and sneeze and, two, for if they have to engage as a last resort, they will make players go through hell in the kind of way that will make them think twice, if not more, before causing any kind of havoc. At least, that is what I would appreciate in so called urban areas.
Rockstar wasn't lying at all when they said Red Dead 2 would have a disgusting amount of depth and detail. While we don't know if Grand Theft Auto 6 will have a better story and better characters, I think it's safe to say GTA6 will surpass RDR2 in every other way.
Aspects that I would appreciate in said game are insects such as ants, mosquitos and spiders. And catching a disease from, say, a mosquito should be drawn out for longer. In addition, it is a pity that one cannot dig into the ground, outside of possible instances in missions, but I understand that this last point is asking for a lot.
By so, so far the best Trailer analyses I saw on TH-cam ! That is an amazing job and editing here ! Well done for doing such a good video in such a little time frame !
Surprised I didn't hear it mentioned that "shot 19" is a recreation of the Seven Mile Bridge that connects the Florida Keys islands together, including the Old Seven Mile Bridge which is a portion of the old bridge that still stands next to the modern one currently in use, hauntingly immortalized in a state of disrepair. Something which I find fascinating!
@@DarkSpaceStudios Happy to share! An odd thing I'm fascinated by is abandoned roads/highways, in the way they give me an ominous and haunted feeling. The "Old Seven Mile Bridge" standing forever unused next to the modern in-use bridge is one of the best cases I've found of this, lol.
The LED building is a spiced up version of the Kaseya Center. Shot 13 is in reference to Wynwood, an arts district in Miami. You can tell because in the background it shows the garage of the design district in Miami, a luxury shopping district that will be added in-game north of Wynwood.
6:39 , A lot of people didn’t notice or don’t know, but in the club something new they have introduced into this new gta is “Bottle Girls” The girls that carry the torches & signs, and sometimes drinks. this is obviously new school stuff because torch girls weren’t a thing in the past and its cool to see that they added that
Visual details will be "sacrified" for the actual gen of consoles. As they did for GTA 5. If you look closer, you can see some missing shadows : some boats shadows on water surface Shot 16 / Shot 17 : missing ambient occlusion (just look at the white car in the foreground) / peoples on left Shot 25. You can look at the resolution of the gas cap too Shot 12 / The aliasing of hairs Shot 20. Theses things will go away with the Next gen/PC version
Everyone keeps comparing the Vice sign to the Hollywood sign but it’s a real sign that says Miami in rl. That’s probably an Easter egg from the movie Bad Boys where they show it at night at the introduction of the movie. The county that Miami is in btw is Broward county so the Sherriff car is pretty accurate. Not sure what it says but obviously it’s close to Broward
@@DarkSpaceStudios you’re welcome and btw Tom Petty is from Florida. He mentions 441 in the song American girl which is a major road that runs primarily through Orlando. I’m watching this as I’m commenting 😂 I live in Daytona Beach so it’s pretty cool seeing Florida in the game
16:55 The news station is called “MegaMundo” which is a parody of Telemundo, a Spanish news station in Miami. Although we have many Spanish news stations here so it probably parodies all of them lol
Shot 17: The red vehicle in front of the Grotti Cheetah Classic is the Grotti Carbonizzare. Further down the street, right after the parked motorbike is a blue Invetero Coquette D10. To the left of the Invetero Coquette D10 is the Obey Tailgater. Just wanted to add that :D
In shot 10, the Helicopter on the right is the Sea Sparrow and the Plane in the background is the Nimbus Shot 12 shows off Rockstar's rendition of Biscayne Row and The Frost Museum, confirmed in GTASeriesVideos' breakdown The side bridge in Shot 19 is the Bahia Honda Rail Bridge
If almost everything shown in the trailer is actually in game at all times/within render then this will probably be the greatest video game of all time
@@adamas_dragonI’m under the assumption that this trailer is just showing everything rendered together for the looks of the trailer, but in the game a lot of this stuff will still be happening but not all together or as condensed as shown here
@@adamas_dragon Rockstar is known for their trailers to all be in-game like with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 I highly doubt they would change that for this trailer since it's such a highly anticipated game and people are gonna want to know what it truly looks like
@@Gr3mlin459 There were plenty of scripted NPC behaviors in the GTA V trailer that you couldn't spot in game. The trailer is absolutely in-game, but there probably won't be so many dynamic actions taking place like NPCs crossing the road at just the right time or throwing beers to one another. It would be nice to be proven wrong, but we will have to wait & see.
I think the trailer will be close to the actual game, spot on in many areas. I do see Rockstar scalling the traffic down a bit though at least for free roam (both vehicles and NPC's).. With that many cars on the roads and people walking around players will be constantly crashing into other cars and running over people racking up Wanted Levels and getting into shootouts with the police, we don't need a scaled up Saint Denis here.
Love all the REAL LIFE references to actual "Florida Man" news stories out of Florida. The alligator in the pool, the naked guy running from cops at the gas station, the tattoo faced colored hair guy, the woman twerking on the hood of the car and others. Supposedly though the "hammer lady" shown was an actual news story out of California during the pandemic time period. Can't wait to see all the other references they will build into this game.
Shot 11: reference to boat race scene in Miami Vice movie trailer Shot 19: possible location for a 'True Lies' themed mission / Blimp is called Fat Albert, being used in counter-drug trafficking operations Shot 21: reference to Bad Boys movie, not Hollywood sign
A lot of those shots are recreations of actual real life events. Would've been cool if those were included in this video. There are actual videos of it. Girl twerking on the car also from real life, the aligator in the store as well, cop chasing the naked man, the grandma with the hammer
16:06 This shot may link up with the leaked footage of Jason and Lucia robbing a diner called "Hank's Waffles" but possibly the name could have changed since the time the leaked footage existed. The leaked footage of the diner scene could have also been a w.i.p version of that robbery mission as well.
I think that shot it's after they rob Uncle Jack's Liquor store (this name was even spotted in the leaked footage as an World Event). Hank's Waffles may have been earlier on.
The cop cars at 15:40 looks like the livery from Broward County Sheriff’s patrol vehicles. I’m wondering if Fort Lauderdale will be a town here. Meanwhile at 16:30 it looks like Florida Highway Patrol (State Troopers), lastly at 17:15 looks like Metro Miami-Dade police. My take is that there will be different kinds of police/wanted levels, from city, to county, to eventually state trooper level depending on the wanted star rating.
it would be great if on low wanted levels you could flee to another city or county where the cops wouldnt be looking for you, but it would probably only work if they dont see you crossing the city limits/county border
15:28 as someone who was born and has always lived in florida these apartment buildings behind her look so familiar that I'm sure they are based off real ones I've seen in south florida
In the Louis Vuitton girl scene, in the distance from left to right, you can clearly see Continuum 1/2, Portofino Tower, Apogee and Murano Grande (and more)
I swear. Insomniac and Rockstar are like half brothers. Every time they catch us by surprise, we all go wild and for one thing they have in common. They never disappoint us with their trailers. Also I could be totally wrong but doesn't Jason really sound a lot like Troy Baker? I doubt it but Imagine if that was true. Instant best performance award
Santa Monica and Naughty dog aswell can hate them all you want, there level of detail in gameplay and how fluently everything flows is amazing from uncharted 4 to last of us part 1&2
I think a lot of these animations probably won't be in game. The beer toss and sunscreen sprays for example. In the GTA 5 trailer the man hammering the for sale sign into the yard and the hooker doing the half squat while blowing a kiss aren't in the game but were focused upon in the trailer. The hooker animation is in the game but only as a scripted event when switching to Michael
Don’t forget that this is a next-gen game. Simple animations like that are NOTHING. I bet they can make 2 NPCS tango if they want. I’m confident in this because I heard they have new AI technology and are moving to an improved engine (obviously). Simple animations like making NPCS avoid homeless people as they walk by seem like they can be easily done by R*.
The shot of the islands with the bridges is meant to be Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys. The incomplete bridge is the old railroad bridge built by Henry Flagler in the 1920s. The new one was built way later on. The Uncle Jacks appears to be a parody of Flannigans and their Big Daddy Liquor stores with their logs resembling each other a lot.
First time seeing your channel and you seem to get the important points of info out extremely efficiently. Not too fast and not too slow or drawn out. Also I can hear everything you say clearly, very good work sir 👍
Dark space, that building in shot 12 is a representation of the Kaseya Center here in miami, where our NBA team, the heat, play. Its a stadium, and it looks amazing in the trailer!!
Honestly shot 35 15:30 is underrated and full of liveliness. Theres a outdoor party going on which seems like in the middle of nowhere. It seems to be a diverse option of where parties are, not only on rooftops. Theres a truck which lights are flared on to help with visibility at night. Thats really smart for npcs. And the flare looks amazing. Theres two drunk guys to the left who are legit anticipating there friend jumping onto the table. Even on there faces. The guy jumping is doing a elbow drop, lol, which could mean many different movements. The trail of beer on the floor looks so real. When the guy jumps his face is reactive, and when he falls the pain on his face. The interaction with tables, and objects breaking is big. Everybody looks piss drunk and soaked in beer. Girls in bikinis are dancing on the rear of a truck next to a large keg of beer. Its just insane.
6:20 is a famous city to locals in miami called wynwood in wynwood most of the walls of buildings has paint on it i believe it is the art capital of florida
Some additional cool things I noticed: 1. NPC’s have tan lines. Most clearly visible in shot 22: you see a girl in a bikini with tan lines on her back from another type of bikini. Also visible in shot 10: the girl that gets sprayed. 2. The shark in shot 6 actually seems to be scared of the jetski and swims away. 3. The air vibrates from heat and speed. Clearly visible in shot 10 when you zoom in on the umbrellas and shot 19 under the plane that goes through the frame. 4. The way the light shines through the hand fan in shot 18. 5. The way the water from the barrels spill over the road all in a different way in shot 38.
This was probably commented already but I believe Leonard County is inspired by Broward County. I’m just going based off the name so I’m not too sure. I live in South FL so seeing these locations in the trailer is really nice
The lighting, hair physics, reflections, those are neat and all, makes it feel pretty realistic, sure. But what REALLY made this feel like I was outside my house in Florida, was the fact that the billboards mostly advertise medicine, insurance, and lawyers. Rockstar truly captured Florida with this rendition of Vice City 😂
16:34 Just realised that the car that's flipped over looks like a second generation Ford Explorer. This could be a suttle nod to the Ford Firestone tyre scandal from the 90's.
If Rockstar is able to pull off that many NPC's all reacting in a realistic manner that would be impressive! RDR2 the NPC's were really good so them expanding on that and increasing the number of NPCs will be a game changer, I just hope we can interact with them still like RDR2
I 100% believe in a sense , rockstar is speaking to us through this trailer … “it’s a long road” as in its been a long road to get here . And then Lucia goes on to speak of trust and how “He” should trust her. They’re acknowledging it’s been a long road but they’re also asking us to trust them
The Police Cars in Shot 41 are a reference to the Miami Dade Police Department, the liveries are the older and newer ones. Also the Sheriff cars from the Leonard County Sheriff are possibly the older Livery of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
I could be wrong, but the trailer never specified “in engine footage” , I don’t think the actual game will be as populated, probably just an in engine trailer to show us what the game is capable of. I want to be wrong but “trailer 1” could entirely just be a teaser but not actual gameplay
The way R* put so much effort in details, that won't be seen by 80% of the players, is just insane for me. I can't believe and can't imagine how much work went in there...
It will be interesting to know how much of this is purely cinematic or actual gameplay footage. Such as the guy spraying sun tan lotion and the guy passing a beer. This could just be cinematic for show and not actual footage from in the game
Omg I am so excited to see this! And it's so cool to have helped you find random little details. Like i pointed out the Boardwalk building irl location, Furia, Comet s2 cabrio, cheetah classic, along with that Dignity brand being shown as a sticker on the store's door, and some other things. GTA VI is a dream come true and i am so happy to have been able to help you with this video!
Great work man, I just wanted to add a very, very tiny detail, but as a car guy I'm appreciating it more than ever: The car lights being lit consist of 2 frames, instead of only 1, like it took place in GTA V & GTA IV. In the original trailer it can be seen at 0:27 mark with the stop lights of Declasse Tulip M-100. For me, the 1 frame car lights were quite odd in the previous games, being lit up literally instantaneously, especially that practically every other game had multiple frames of cars' lights being lit.
In appreciation, engages a blinker... the dashboard then lights up an icon consisting of arrows in both directions, so there might be a bit of confusion as to which one.
The Leonard county police cars look very similar to the Broward Sheriff police cars and the Florida Highway Patrol. In shot 36 the mall sign also looks similar to the one at The Village Gulfstream Park also in Broward (specifically Hallandale)
7:40 npc's dynamically jaywalking across the street is a first and also impressive from a technical view, I'm sure there were a lot of bugs with that one lol

The last GTA to have an airboat was GTA Vice City Stories which is often forgotten about. Also the reels of social media tags with the hashtag of the main character is going to be wild since everything the main character may do will become an in-game internet phenomenon with the NPCs. It is going to be the modern day Honor bar seen in RDR

Yeah I had the impression it was the arena but the lighting was confusing
I was more thinking about either the Arsht Center, or the buildings in Design District along the I 195
One of my favorite breakdowns Ive seen of the trailer. The beach scene really opened my eyes to how detailed this game will be. Oh i liked that car in gta 4 - the only car which side windows could withstand 2 bullets

“2025?! That’s gonna take forever 🙄” Well you gotta realize how much detail and aspect is going to happen in the game. Truly a game changer.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and it makes the work worth it!
I couldn't agree more!! dark space you did a wonderful job at dissecting the trailer very observant 😅🙏🏻🙃
@@enforcement2 so you wanted free content at the cost of the creator rather than the cost of a sponsor.

thats a pretty good parody of the Florida Highway Patrol
it would also mark first time in the series that State Police would receive proper treatment as Alderney (New Jersey) State Police and SAHP (CHP) were done dirty as they were left unfinished with ASP even using LCPD marked cruisers as their vehicles
17:12 The White Cruisers are based off Miami-Dade County Police which means this scene takes place in Vice-Dale County
Interesting to see the amount of new (and old) cars in the trailer. I wonder if we'll see another GTA IV > GTA V situation where returning vehicles have super varying deformation compared to new vehicles.
Definitely a lot of returning cars, I think even saw the tailgater, and maybe a futo at one point

Something which I find fascinating!

My take is that there will be different kinds of police/wanted levels, from city, to county, to eventually state trooper level depending on the wanted star rating.
I can confirm everything you said
it would be great if on low wanted levels you could flee to another city or county where the cops wouldnt be looking for you, but it would probably only work if they dont see you crossing the city limits/county border

I agree entirely
This time, perhaps, things will be different. I moved here for the leather, so if I get a sweater... bad luck, I guess.
Can really use gta 5 as an example when rdr2 had alot of different animations and ppl building too
Gta 5 was held back significantly because of the 360 and ps3

The shot of the islands with the bridges is meant to be Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys. The incomplete bridge is the old railroad bridge built by Henry Flagler in the 1920s.

Keep in mind, some of this shots could be from a cutscene from a mission and not typical animation youll see while freeroaming.
They’re acknowledging it’s been a long road but they’re also asking us to trust them
I hope you have interactive convos with the npcs and go into a lot of buildings
17:20 Banshee uses the same colours as the the car given away by Rockstar in 2013.
Watched a few breakdowns. And i learn somethin different everytime. Youre the first to mention the reflections

Great work man, I just wanted to add a very, very tiny detail, but as a car guy I'm appreciating it more than ever:
The car lights being lit consist of 2 frames, instead of only 1, like it took place in GTA V & GTA IV. In the original trailer it can be seen at 0:27 mark with the stop lights of Declasse Tulip M-100.
For me, the 1 frame car lights were quite odd in the previous games, being lit up literally instantaneously, especially that practically every other game had multiple frames of cars' lights being lit.
In appreciation, engages a blinker... the dashboard then lights up an icon consisting of arrows in both directions, so there might be a bit of confusion as to which one.

the derelict bridge at 10:49 is based on the Seaboard Air Line Railway
The Leonard county police cars look very similar to the Broward Sheriff police cars and the Florida Highway Patrol. In shot 36 the mall sign also looks similar to the one at The Village Gulfstream Park also in Broward (specifically Hallandale)
7:40 npc's dynamically jaywalking across the street is a first and also impressive from a technical view, I'm sure there were a lot of bugs with that one lol
