Yesterday i bought my first jewelry bag. I bought 10 kilograms in jewelry! The thrift store had collect the jewelry that was broken over the last couple of years. I bought it for 40 euro's (50 dollars?). I thought i won the Jackpot. After spitting it all trough i found for only 23 grams in silver. I was a little bit disapointed but learned that it works if you just ask if they have broken jewelry behind the bar. I just sold the bag for 75 euro, so after all it was profitable.
If you haven't dealt with those Times electric watches you need to shake them after you put the battery in to get the balance moving. A lot of people think they are broken when they don't start ticking right away.
@@thomasflynn5366 yes I have seen a few of them. My success rate is probably around the same. I find it strange because they are half mechanical half electric. I had one once that didn’t run, and a drop of oil on the top jewel of the balance did the trick

Good one, I often ask if they have any broken watches. Most times they will sell them to me for $1 each and the just need straps or batteries
Love the field/ pilot watches ❤️
Thanks me too
Nice finds!
Thank you

Ok thanks, I’m doing that now and see what you mean. Almost all of the ones in the video are working
@vintagesterlingfinds1651 great to hear. I find about a 50% success rate with those electrics. I can service Timex mechanical but not the electrics.

Some of the apple watch straps you can remove the adaptors from the ends and use as a standard watch strap.
And you didn’t invite me to come 😮
