In my opinion you can't beat the look of the dials on vintage watches. Although some of those look like they survived an airplane crash, unfortunately not the person wearing it.
How did you say i could get a hold of you? I would be interested in the victorinox watch at a decent price. I would then try to find a case back for it then. Ive always wanted a swiss watch but cant afford them. This would be the only way to aquire a decent swiss watch. Please comment back. Thank you.
You should post screenshots of the fb or craigslist posting at the beginning of these videos. I've seen other people do that when they post these types of videos for credibility reasons.

I agree. I always leave vintage patina on the watches. It gives it a classy look
Your etsy store is so beautiful!
Thanks so much
Thank you enjoy your videos, interesting, where do get all your bands and straps from?
@@firefly17292 mainly Temu and eBay
Can you make a video opening some of the more mechanical older ones so we can see the movements too?
Sure I can do that
@@vintagesterlingfinds cool thank you!

The cost fixing those watches far exceeds resale value
I fix them my self. It’s more of a hobby
If it’s a Ronda then you should be fine as it is a Swiss movement - Victorinox tend to either use Ronda or ETA movements, so I reckon it’s good!
Ok thanks. I agree. The other Victorinox watches, have always had ETA so I think that’s why I questioned it
30 jewels in a handwinder thats a good one ... very nice haul...
Thanks
Swiss military is a decent brand man. Nice catch with the Victorinox!
Thanks so much
victorinox make some beautiful watches don’t they
@@ashleychambers7602 absolutely!
@@ashleychambers7602 yes they do
So question. The mechanical ones. So you sell them as is or do you attempt to service them yourself?
I sell them on eBay as lots. My skills are not good enough for a full service
Nice👍
Thanks
Are the 'black' watches by Carling?
Roger in London
It is not. It is a Fremes

I was wondering where you buy these huge boxes and how much they cost on average.
Either Craigslist or fb marketplace. Sometimes garage sales and thrift stores. I usually pay $100-$200
Ohhh that Mido! Great find.
@@onthewrist5006 thanks so much
Do you ever keep some of the watches to wear?
Of course, my favourite is Seiko and Timex
some of these look really fancy tho
@@Mizai thanks some in the lot are fairly high end
What do you do with the China and invalid watches?
Generally price them cheap and sell them at a local flea market

Not a bad idea, I may start doing that
Program would be better if you slowed down and showd the watch to the camera, straight away.
Thanks. I will try and slow down. It’s a fine line, as I don’t want the videos to be crazy long

@@frecklefingers ok thanks I didn’t know that
That was a nice box of watches and you got it for good price.
Thanks so much
Mido are good Swiss watches. Brand is better known outside of North America.
Thank you, I have found that with a lot of watches
Mido .. remember that next time. 🎉
